Just coming across this channel as an AOT fan 6months later...to only learn of your loss all of a sudden at the end hit real hard,to close to home,since I also lost someone close to me in January of 2024...being my Father who passed from a sudden beart attack that it still unexplainably is making me feelwaful andistraught... Hope you're doing better and would want to let you know that you're not alone and that even if something like this is hard at first...is still something that will hopefully heal with time...IK I'm kinda late but hope you're doing well and that someday we all would be happier and not as sad as nowadays... Tbf. Idk what else I should/could say,bc. I'm also trying to deal with my own loss but hopefully someday those won't hurt as much as they do now for both of us... Idk...just try hoping for the best man...bc. sadly it's all we can do,since wafully we're all powerless to change something like that❤

23:30 that’s so funny lol, Korra’s main element besides water was fire and Aang’s is earth, which is of course the opposite of their natural element 🥹🥹 love these shows. Another great video Koroto!! So happy i found your channel :)) first video was the water 7 one (i watch anything about Robin)

The shows biggest problem is that it didn't respect the source materials in the end and tried to screw the creators. Bad business, done by people that dont understand filmmaking. Not to mention, the spin-offs didnt matter.

There's only 1 reason light lost in the end he could have killed near and achieved his goal of a utopia and that was the emergency page tactic he used almost every day because he always had a piece and had mikami devised the same thing as light even if Near took the real notebook everyone who knew about the notebook would have died and not only that but light also had a way to tame Ryuk which was apples but he didn't exploit that and use it against ryuk to give him names without the shinigami eyes because all he'd have to do was exchange a name for an apple if it had to come to it and for as long as light was the owner of the notebook there was nothing ryuk could do except give him names and half his problems would have been solved but the story made light dumber as the show progressed because he did notice ryuk was addicted to apple's and it could have been a good exchange for names and we notice shinigami can be influenced because rem did listen misa just because she loved misa and for someone like ryuk a apple exchange was all he needed to control ryuk just for names he needed in a dire situation

A Sub-class of bending that gets me is Sand. It's a strange combination of Earth and Air. Despite ultimately being earth, the Sand-benders are nomadic like the air-benders once were. You can't push sand like you do a boulder, it will give and sway. Toph describes looking through it as fuzzy, unable to get a solid picture. She has to practice to improve her control of it by the end of Book 3, which one could see as her embracing a less rigid life. The Sand-benders themselves primarily use it to form miniature sand storms to propel their sand gliders, not unlike air-bending.

Didn't catch it mentioned in the script, so I'll say: reconciling or mastering opposites is usually called dialectics or nondualism. Especially the latter in translations of Eastern philosophies. "Opposites" there are often asserted to be incomplete, flawed perspectives of one whole. That's what the yin-yang represents. Writers that understand this get depth for free lol

Earth has been my favorite element for a long time.
@mrsir611219 сағат бұрын
This video is lies. The last element we see Aang bend is air at the very end of the finale in Irohs tea shop. And before that it’s water after the fight to put out the fires

An idea came to me while watching this video but if Aang had killed Ozai many more members of the fire nation would've rebelled violently. Almost no nation with a ruler who was killed or after a war had a smooth transition of power. By sparing Ozai and removing his bending the fire nation could move forward in a less violent manner. While there was still a coup after the war it wasn't that large. Azula having lost her sanity/mental composure also meant she was no longer fit to rule. If u were seeing your presumably dead mother u know u r not in a good mental state. Iroh himself might've known this plus it would've been very difficult for Iroh: mentally, physically, & emotionally killing his brother

My final episode I watched was Rick’s last episode in the main series. I felt I couldn’t justify continuing it after the man the story has followed the entire time was gone. I saw it was gonna be a time skip. I just didn’t care anymore. My head cannon is that he died on that bridge after it exploded. And that’s where the show ended for me. Because he died on the bridge he doesn’t know what happened next. And neither do I.

Also, Jeong jeong wanted to teach Aang to restraint and be patient while his firebending style looks a lot like earthbending
@acsoundСағат бұрын
Yep; Jeong Jeong had basically told Aang: "NO! You're not ready. You have to learn the elements IN ORDER: water, earth, fire, and air." His reasoning being that he's a displaced airbender, so obvious AVATAR is obvious, but he hasn't learned earthbending, so he won't have the discipline he needs to properly use fire (a powerful, dangerous element that can BURN PEOPLE). The poor guy (after being strong-armed by Roku into training Aang out of order *anyway*) tries to teach Aang patience and discipline; this doesn't work, Katara gets burned, and Aang swears off firebending until S3.

I just lost interest when they introduced Negan. Not because the character wasn't charismatic but because one of the things that kept me hooked to the series is that it was rarely predictable. You never really knew what the next season would do... Except that with the Saviors I could 100% see that it was just going to become a story of how they form some rebellion and take down a tyrannical group. I didn't see a point in sitting through all of that when I already knew the outcome, ended up being proven correct and I just did not feel like watching what came after that. It honestly felt like it had been going for way too long already. Kinda like being in a roller coaster that's so long it has stopping stations for whoever wants to get off. At a certain point the anxiety and stress is no longer exhilarating, it's just exhausting. Maybe doing a full blown century time skip with completely new characters and a completely new plot would be a good reboot of sorts. Do a story of how humanity has practically gone back to a pseudo-medieval age with walled off cities, horses, armor, the whole thing while also scavenging for blueprints, avoiding the ancient walker-infested cities and so on. Guns exist still but they're a far cry from the designs we used to have. Maybe the story could be about some people trying to re-industrialize the world again? Not sure but the current timeline for the TV-verse is kinda... Just boring. It's just not interesting and there is something about the production quality that feels extremely cheap and uninspired.

Yeah no. Farmboy being the father was a stupid plot point. At the end of the day it is a story. No one will care for a character who appeard for 3 seconds.
@Koroto22 сағат бұрын
Yeah, in my opinion, that's the whole point. We aren't supposed to care about him and that is the moral of Historia's story. She goes from a miserable young kid, to finding out she is actually royalty, to rejecting that status because she saw what it does to someone like Rod (just like she rejects the syringe) and marrying a literal nobody (just like she was a nobody on the farm way back when). AoT is heavy on chekov's guns, but it is also very heavy on themes - I think the farm lad is the latter.

One of my favorite parts of Iroh as a character is how much he uses all the elements in his teachings and forms. He doesn't use air too often, but it wasn't around during his life, so I can't really fault him for that.
