Definitely developed some hypervigilance after having to go to confession in Catholic school starting in grade 2....my hands would sweat...looking for my sins and then having to say something..I often made it up...

Thank you for allowing God in. I've been so jacked up for days, some kind of flare up of muscoskelatal neck,back, hip, insomnia,ibs,panic,tears. Very difficult yo feel safe. catastrophizing always about the C word or weird neurological problem. I've noticed a phrase online that scares me like around lack of sleep where it says underlying health condition. It's so vague yet sends me into fear.

I just came across you for the first time . Surprise. ( I've been involved in intense research, experience, in and out of the 'medical labyrinth.' Of course, a mountain of videos, approaches etc. including more recently, focus on the mind/body "Sarno" and successor's work.) At 12:48, when you paused to reach out from your story, tears welled up. It is just so true. The isolation I've seen and all the bracing of all systems from prolonged suffering, many not having any support or understanding even from family and friends. That moment is exactly what is missing in majority of medical professionals and sadly, people in general: sincere connection, authentic empathy. Thank you for that. It is another example of the mind /body connection: even my body/mind released when you reached out and spoke directly to the wound, the heart, the grief. To be held and seen is to feel safe and connected. A blessing ... I thank you for.

Hey😊 how do we know what pattern exactly to change? When i don t feel respected, someone raises his voice at me or does thibgs i would never do , i get angry but never really expressed it..they say rerpressed anger can also cause pain. Lately it comes up more naturally, but now i even have one more pain I don t know if it is because of all the guilt and dpibt after the anger, if i really should be upset or defend myself Or if i just need to change my option, not to be upset, let others express their anger, saying myself it is not meant in a mean way ect Also concerning healthy boundaries i never know when i really should say smth or leave and when it is just all about my mind, thst some one else would not be offended at all, so i am " the problem" not the other person

While I am listening for myself...I happen to have a son who has an actual abnormality in vertebra causing congenital scoliosis...it has never hurt him and by all accounts won't hurt...but I can see if he started to have pain a Dr. would jump to the conclusion that the scoliosis was the cause. My body does talk to me...eating a meat based diet turns down that noise..but I realize half of the issue is my mind.

One super helpful thing to me in some healing was to write down any improvement in anything. Did I get up and quickly get in a good mood? Did I sleep 5 minutes longer /better? Was I able to think of more things to be thankful for quicker? What else was going right? How was God working? What was the Holy Spirit up to?

How do you know for sure it’s mind body? Is there a questionnaire that will determine it is. I am almost positive it is but I know I have piriformis syndrome both sides and myofascial pain syndrome with spasms. I have pretty much muscle aches and pains all over with trigger points I can feel. Thanks!

Wonderful! I’m a highly sensitive person too. Normally that comes with qualities such as enjoying life fuller, being creative and loving from a deep place, but it also comes with challenges of being able to take our emotions to God to know when we’re feeling things that are helpful and when we’re feeling things that are not completely based in truth! I do this work continually.

My symptoms started the exact same way and I had just about everything she had. She has such a beautiful smile so glad she’s better.People should show their emotions as they are telling these stories because we are all feeling the same exact emotions never say you’re sorry it validates what we’re going through. It helps a lot to know we are not the only ones. I’ve had some great things happen through my connection to God and talking about it makes me emotional too but that’s OK. I started with bed yoga you can find that on KZbin channels there’s a lady who works with the elderly cannot remember her name.I think her first name is Peggy she’s really really good. She does all kinds of gentle yoga

I’ve seen the success story on another channel and I think it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever heard. I loved hearing it again in fact I was thinking about him, because I couldn’t remember which channel I saw it on and I’m so glad I came across it again since I’m new at this. I’m also on a restrictive diet forgot issues but also have a typical trigeminal neuralgia for a pretty long time high levels of pain. Love what he’s doing love that he’s giving back and telling his story thank you thank you thank you❤ I stopped researching because I had recovered I’d say 90% from really bad interstitial cystitis I had for over a decade. Any research made it worse because the stories are also sad. I didn’t do myself any favors because I missed out on all this Sarno stuff, read his book back at 95 no KZbin then let it go. Really mad at myself for not seeing this but what happened is I was in so much neuralgia pain I got on my knees And Begged God to give me some kind of clue I’m on the Internet a lot watching KZbin nothing about health other than Holistic and fun channels. The day after I asked God to show me a sign a success story showed up in my feed. It’s just happened about four weeks ago so I do believe what he saying.

This was so rich and encouraging, thank you!! It really helped me understand that most of our thoughts, feelings, beliefs come from how our brain is wired and that we do really have a choice to listen to our pain and rewire our brain in a gentle and kind way. Also this made me realise for the first time that we were created to be treated and spoken to with kindness, which is really beautiful.

Thanks so much for your clear explanations of a complex process. Very helpful! I've been doing Tms work for 3 years and cured chronic knee pain with Sarno's approach. My question relates to the lymbic brain's influence specifically on the endrocrine system you explained. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's a few years ago, which has significantly changed my life. Is there any evidence that this autoimmune disease, which attacks the thyroid and comes with a host of symptoms and bodily sensations, has a mind-body connection and could be healed? Thank you!
@ThoughtByThoughtHealingАй бұрын
I don’t personally work with autoimmune symptoms because of lack of current studies/ research. but I know that a lot of people with autoimmune are experimenting with mind body work - and many of them have success. The cool thing is that mind body work has no negative consequences.

What are neural retraining programs? Does it help with any activated nervous system conditions? I have chronic stress And anxiety
@ThoughtByThoughtHealingАй бұрын
Yes absolutely. Neural retraining programs help you to change the way your brain is automatically reacting to life, including the nervous systems reactions. When I work with people, I am helping them do neural retraining. This is all done through entertaining that God created the brain to be in neuroplastic, and even though there may feel like there are things that are outside of our control regarding our nervous system, they are actually within our control if we want to do the work to change. The program I started with was DNRS there are many. The one that I liked the most was Howard Schubiner’s book called unlearn your pain.

I cried at the action part of BASE when I realised I was in a protective posture. I believe I'm experiencing alot of previously repressed grief about how unsafe I can feel now and how unsafe I felt as a child. Doing this sort of work has shown me how disconnected from my emotions I have become. And how my bodily symptoms are literally emotions I have repressed! It feels like magic to finally understand what's been happening to me all these years! I am so grateful for those of you that do this work so that others like me can heal. Thank you ❤

@amyk7340Ай бұрын
This is excellent! I didn’t realize I actually used this method without even knowing the existence of it. I had vertigo and a few times I’d be driving. Since driving is a matter of safety issues I had to not panic and just go with the flow. I kept saying to myself don’t fight this feeling but of wooziness just accept and it. It wasn’t bad where I felt I had to pull over but to my surprise it left quicker than if I was doing something else or whatever. I changed my thinking so every time I had a dizzy feeling I literally just told myself it’s okay just let it happen don’t fear it or fight it. I experienced less of them and know I can’t even remember the last time I had an episode. I totally get this now with my chronic muscle pain. I will exercise my brain to not worry, fret, or irritated about it. I am super excited about this! Thanks you!
