I watched Frank's video before this, and as I said in my comment on his video, in all my time collecting records, I have never seen one of those inner sleeves. I live in the UK and can only think that they must be unique to North America?

Records that are sealed over a period of time. Will cause ring wear on the cover of the vinyl. Also it will cause the spine to frail. The string gets tighter over a period of time. And will cause the cover to band and create creases. I know from experience I'm a Elvis record collector. You want to open your record cover put your record and behind the cover in a sleeve with a new outer sleeve on the cover.

I’m very relaxed about looking now (as the cupboard is getting full🤭). I mainly tend to just go into the one charity shop on the one day in the week when the new stuff gets put out. I know throughout the year good stuff will be coming through. The occasional gem is worth the wait. I only buy what I specifically like 👍. Would love to spend an afternoon rummaging in the lock up🎉

Yes I’m very fortunate to have access to this amount of records. The difficult part is limiting myself to how much I bring home. My wife is going to eventually lock me up if I keep pilling up the vinyl lol 🤪

So there I was, on the toilet, casually watching this video on my phone, when you told me not to wait a minute longer. I had to open my sealed 1997 remaster of Dark Side of the Moon-I couldn't wait a minute longer! The urgency was real. I leapt up, pants barely secured, and bolted to my listening room like a man possessed, propelled by the winds of musical destiny. What a mess! Let's just say my carpets have seen better days, and no amount of cleaning will ever fully erase the, uh, evidence of my haste. But hey, at least my record isn't sealed anymore.

It's snowing here all week as well. This is beautiful music, and it reminds me of some of the best Windham hill artists recordings in a more modern updated fashion. Nice video, and beautiful Northern New Mexico high elevation landscapes !

Side two is dedicated to his band Astral Mixtape which is a classical foundation with a modern twist. It really is a beautiful album.

I found the interview to be extremely informative. Having worked in the administrative sector of a philharmonic orchestra for over a decade, I was able to relate to many of the topics discussed, particularly those related to supporting and underwriting. It is crucial to provide opportunities for emerging composers to showcase their work. I will certainly explore Bob’s website further. I found your discussion on mastering to be particularly insightful.

With all the record labels out there producing the same old reissue titles and charging exuberant amounts of money for them, I’m so grateful to have been introduced to Yarlung Records. They really appeal to my chef mentality. They use only the best and freshest ingredients and create mostly original and creative recipes. Bob is a highly gifted individual with great passion and consciousness.

Very interesting, thank you. When I was young, my girlfriends dad had a nice stereo with wooden pyramid speakers with just one speaker at the top. I don't know what they were called but they sounded great at the time.
