Same with the original 500W PSU like other video. For the HP Prodesk 400 G4, the best CPUs for gaming would be the Intel Core i7-7700 or the i5-7600K. Both are great options and compatible with the 6th and 7th gen Intel CPUs that this PC supports!

hello friend, thanks for the content, you have helped me get out of doubts but you have also generated another. I have an HP prodesk 600 G4 MT i5 8500 and I am thinking of buying an RX 580 (which is just the right size for the MT case) and a 550w power supply considering the idea of leaving the source external while I buy another case (depending on the size of the source) ... my doubt now is about the connectors, I was thinking of buying a 24-pin to 6-pin adapter but I realize that the motherboard has a 4-pin input, this leaves me very confused because I cannot find connectors for 24-pin to 4-pin, only 24 to 6, really, is there no other alternative, do these connectors not exist? I wouldn't dare to do what you did in the video, no matter how funny it is, but I loved watching it. I had been looking for many months for modification content for HP ProDesk PCs. You came from heaven bro. PS: In the event that the power supply cannot be changed safely, I will have to buy an Nvidia Gigabyte GTX 1650 OC.

Hi, if you are looking to upgrade your HP ProDesk 600 G4 with an RX 580, here are some ideas based on my experience: - Original HP 500W Power Supply: You can buy an original HP 500W power supply (model: DPS-500AB-32A) from marketplaces like eBay or AliExpress. Prices range from $35 to $150, depending on the seller. This will allow you to upgrade your preferred GPU straightforwardly. - Changing the Case and PSU: If you plan to change the case and put the PSU outside using a 24-pin to 6-pin adapter, it won’t work. Please note that there is no 24-pin to 4-pin cable adapter for HP motherboards. Additionally, the 24-pin to 6-pin adapter for HP is not compatible with your PC. - Using GTX 1650: If you decide to use a GTX 1650 for your upgrade, it’s also a good option. All you need is the GTX 1650 GPU card, and you’re good to go. Thank you.

Any VGA card for prodesk 400g6 MT?
@itggearАй бұрын
It depends on your PC power supply capacity. Most HP mid-tower PCs come with a 180W PSU, which is not suitable for any GPU at all. However, the HP mid-tower could be configured with various PSU options like 250W, 310W, and 500W. If your PC comes with a 250W or 300W PSU, a 70W or 50W GPU should be suitable for your PC, such as RTX 3050 6G, RX 6400, GTX 1650, GTX 1050, GTX 1050 Ti, etc. If your PC's PSU is 500W, you can install more powerful GPUs like RTX 3060 up to RTX 3060 Ti or newer RTX 4060 or RTX 4060 Ti. Just make sure your GPU does not exceed 250mm in length. Thank you.

The HP ProDesk 400 G4 is designed to support Intel 6th and 7th generation Core processors, such as the i3, i5, and i7 series. Unfortunately, it does not support Intel Xeon processors. If you’re looking for a workstation with Xeon support, you might need to consider a different model, such as the HP Z series. Thank you for your question!

I use this litte Beast as VR only Gaming Pc. 3060 with 12 gb and an SF PSU modular. Cheapest way you bridge 2 Pins on the PSU, and need only the Grey Cable to HP Mainboard. Pro: Start with Powerbutton works. Negative: turn on and off your PSU or it run all the time.

The concept of adding two PSUs using SATA to a 24-pin power supply power-on kit is an idea I wanted to share in this video. While it should work for running an RX 470, the implementation can be complex. If you plan to use an RX 470, please check your PC’s PSU. If your PSU is 300W, you can use a SATA to 6-pin or 8-pin PCIe cable adapter to install your RX 470. Thank you!

PCIe 8-pin power connectors aren't proprietary. Smh you have absolutely no clue what you're doing.
@itggear6 ай бұрын
Yes, indeed, the 8-pin power cable is not a proprietary connector. However, the power supply that comes with this PC is 310W and does not have an 8-pin PCIe power cable. The recommended power supply for an RTX 3060 is 550W, so using a 310W PSU is not secure for long-term operation with this setup. Adding two PSUs to a PC is just an idea and can be fun too. Thank you! 😊
