So true about the casserole connotations… your dad worried that every casserole I made was going to be “goulash” from his childhood!

Lentils are so versatile, and combining prepped components like this is my favourite way to eat. Thanks for posting!

I'm wondering if that pasta salad in a box was the one that had the optional but highly suggested addition of relish? Lol. Thats the one I grew up on. Really excited to make this and see more recipes!
@CozyPeachKitchenАй бұрын
It was “Suddenly Salad” (I had to ask my mom!) Not sure if it had relish but I can see that being a part of it lol.

This looks so simple, but so good. I didnt realise you had a yt channel! When i search online for a recipe and your website comes up in the results, its the first one i click on because your recipes are so consistently delicious! Your instant pot apple cinnamon oats was the first thing I made when i bought my instant pot, and its still my favourite oatmeal recipe. Hope you continue to post content here, subscribed!

Looks so good. I don't think I have seen anyone tear their tofu instead of cutting in squares or triangles. This tearing method looks like it would help dry seasonings stick better to the tofu. I like this idea. The only downfall I see in this is that it looks pretty messy. Crumbs on the counter, crumbs in the air fryer. I use my air fryer all the time and line a pan with foil that I throw away after one use making cleanup so simple and no dishes to clean. The downfall to that method is the food isn't as crunchy coming out of the air fryer but it saves me so much time in cleanup. How much time do you spend on cleanup? I am like you, I start out cooking dinner and end up with the same tray of food each time. Probably we do this because we just really like what we are making. I have all these different spices and I end up pretty much using the same tried and true spices over and over!
@CozyPeachKitchenАй бұрын
You are so right on both counts! The seasonings get in the nooks and crannies. I almost mentioned in the video that if you don't like mess keep to the sliced tofu. My air fryer has a pan below the air fryer basket that catches crumbs. I line this with foil, so thankfully no crumbs in the actual air fryer (you might notice some when I open the door at one point at the end, that's because I wasn't thinking and started shaking the basket...thus shaking more crumbs to the bottom.) I love my fancy toaster oven/air fryer but do find it a little harder to clean than a classic basket air fryer. Happy cooking! :)

I always use my hands to mix up meatloaf. I am not vegetarian (though I lean that way) and plan to use a couple of eggs (more protein) instead of the flax. The recipe does look tasty!! Thanks for sharing.

This channel is awesome - I just stumbled upon it. Looks like it has ended, (no new recipes in a long while), and I'm bummed about it. I focus on wfpb oil-free recipes but the ones here are easily adaptable. Cool, unique recipes and host is perfect and professional but fun. I'm definitely going to get the cookbook!

Welcome! I do hope to come back to the channel one day soon as I love making the videos, I just haven't had the time in the past year. If you're on Instagram you can find me there, I share new recipes a few times a week. Thank you for the comment, it's what gets me excited to hopefully make videos again some day! :)

1/2" cuts are "chopped, 1'4" cuts are "diced", and 1/8" cuts are "minced". Why don't any of these "chefs" know this and use basic kitchen terminology.

I went to Thailand a year ago and was told not to eat the seeds of jackfruit as they are bad for you. I read online that boiling or roasting makes them edible. I wonder if the canning process renders them edible?

I love this recipe so much I’m making it for a second time! I made it for the first time last month and used some red lentil rotini pasta, super packed with plant based nutrition! Also I love it because it’s one year old friendly, my baby loved it for her first pasta dish ❤

Man, this looks good. I am glad you explained why you made triangles over cubes because my first thought given the choice of shapes was to go with cubes. It is what I always do and easy but when you explained about crispy triangles, Yeah! Going for the triangles. This looks so good. I have to quit watching these cooking videos right now because I have gotten so many ideas from you cooking channel now. I subscribe, by the way. Will check back later. Between your chickpeas and tofu ideas, I am going to be busy.

I really liked all those quick little serving suggestions near the end of your video. WOW! All of them looked like a great meal plan. I think I will make them all, different days though. I almost didn't watch this video because the subject didn't trip my interest but I do love chickpeas and eat them all the time. I haven't eaten them in the ways you suggested so I can hardly wait! That goat cheese snack looked more like a meal to me and I will be doing that! Thanks for posting this.

I’m the only one in my household who likes tofu. How long will leftovers keep in the refrigerator?
@CozyPeachKitchen5 ай бұрын
I usually recommend up to 4 days, but they do freeze well!
