HA HA HA! I ride windmill but i want to ride zombie then progress to seated. Coolness can be at 0% or less as its not important as i want to ride at work where i have to run around a big warehouse at times.

As many videos about this where riders ignore traffic lights and roll like complete maniacs, i highly doubt the insurance companies wont lobby against legalization to avoid losing money paying claims.

I think it's easier with power pads because you have something to lean your calves on when going backwards. Also, When going backwards, put more weight on your heels, just as you would put your weight on your toes going forward. Doing so will keep you more stable.... Like he said, going faster keeps you more stable. Not a pro by any means, and can only go 30 feet before i start wobbling, but when i first startes, I couldn't go more than 5 feet, but the tips i stated above helped me get farther and farther every time i tried it.

You say wearing gear is off-putting and fuels the perception of danger. I say not wearing gear fuels the perception of not being a smart rider. No offense, but at least where I live, wearing safety gear is taken for granted.

First i have to say thanks - i love your videos - really great ! A little question - when you ride your EUC and would like to make speed - you lean forward...do you lean with both feet synchron or is one foot to stabilise...i mean do you press both feet to power pads,or only one ? Thanks for an answer !

So far my crashes have been low speed but I cap my speed at 30 with the top speed of the wheel at 44. Usually it happens to me going off a curb or having to start/stop suddenly. My lesson was to get ankle guards.

It is illegal to ride a powered wheel on a public road. 6 points at least, confiscation of equipment and a large fine I believe ?

I've had a v12 ht for almost a year. Though it is my first euc. That thing is awesome and tuff, it wentnhead first into a tree at 15 mph and was completely undamaged. I have around 500 miles on it. I've done allot of city and off road riding on it and it's been great. Don't ride in the snow, uphill is a no go.

I just want to know how the heck did the bikes in Netherlands get such favor as to have a law that states "if a car hits a bike the car is at fault." I know that there the insurance companies said this has to happen or we won't write a policy for bikes.

More of this. I've noticed that a lot of EUC channels ignore road rules and will speed past pedestrians, and it's a bad example. Safety awareness culture, similar to that of motorcyclists, needs to develop with EUC's. I wish someone had a channel like DanDantheFireman's, but for EUC safety.

Trying to correct an unexpected wobble at a high speed sounds like the most likely culprit of many crashes. Wobble can be started by turbulence to minor user error. I agree with your conclusion but would probably put protective gear at number one or two.👍🏽

One thing that I've learned in my experiences is not to go too fast or try tricks and stunts when I'm fatigued. One evening, after a long day at work, I got on my wheel to practice jumping and bonking curbs. I tried to jump a pothole, and in a lack of good judgment, I ended up landing right in the pothole. I went straight down as my wheel came to an abrupt stop. Just like you said, my knees hit the pavement first, followed by my hands, and then my chest. Fortunately, I walked away from the ordeal with only a sprained wrist and a few minor scratches, which healed in a few days. My wheel was fried, and I had to put a new controller in it. At 50 years old, I'm not as sharp as I used to be, so I really should have waited until I was well rested before practicing advanced skills that require more stamina and strength.

Do you think that attatchable slide/ skid plates on the bottoms of shoes would help some people at least be able to “skate “ out of a crash as opposed to trying to run out of it ? We both have watched enough crashes to know that a majority involves the rider, putting their foot down first trying to bring the other one alongside it, but the traction of the sneaker then takes over and it does its job and stopping you from slipping but not running at 45 mph. If there were no traction and your foot slid the other would be able to come in and help and you could just slide out to a stop on your feet. Maybe even have time to squat down put your hands to the ground to help or if you’re good enough, just surf it out on the bottoms of your feet.
