As an aspiring animator with a bachelor in animation. One thing that has always baffled me is how people animate a changing texture in something like blender, or even in games like the yellow ink applying to the poster at 0:04. Never figured it out nor have i seen a tutorial cover it. Especially when its a zig zaggy motion like this and not and uniform wipe effect.
