Watch out for the CR V. They recently had 2 or 3 recalls. Was shocked when I heard this, from HONDA. But after seeing this it may be a case of pumped up production to meet increased demand has lead to lesser quality control measures. Would not be the first time this has happened to an otherwise dependable Japanese car or car company. Quality control standards is what put Japanese cars ahead of American cars to begin with. You want an American car that meets or exceeds LEXUS quality, take a look (and drive) at BUICK. GM discontinued all those brands years ago (Pontiac, Olds, Saturn) and focused on Buick, specifically to catch up to the Japs. We were 15 years behind them when GM did this and Buick caught up and exceeded Lexus standards in only 10. I took a course in this stuff in college in case you're wondering.

Ok you were doing good until you got to the Silverado. The only real problem they have is the lame 2.8 liter motor. If you have lifter issues in any Car engine it will most likely be very bad and i am not talking about lifter knock noise. The cylinder deactivation mostly has issues cause people don't take of there vehicles. My buddy has a 2017 Silverado that has five hundred plus thousand miles on it and mine has almost two hundred thousand on it and the only issue we have had has been the transmission which lasted way past the warranty date. With that said any new car you buy now is just a disposable piece of garbage waiting to be recycled that cost twenty times more than it is really worth. Ford Dodge Nissan Mazda Volvo Land Rover Jaguar Fiat Any new Jeep and a whole list of others are just garbage plain and simple and the only reason they are still around is cause Muppet's like you are still buying them. I have been an auto mechanic for over thirty years and worked on almost any kinda of car that has been built. I for sure know what the real bad cars are.

What good is Warranty when they can't fix it and it spends more time in the shop than you're driveway. The cost keeps going up and people need something reliable and affordable not rolling death.

John Deere started digging its own grave when they switched parts manufacturing to Chery and other questionable sources. Chery is not bad, at all, but you obviosly can't charge "America" prices for a Chinese parts piece of equipment. This is the result of pure greed. Financial success over commercial success in the long term result in what is happening with John Deere

I am disappointed with my 2024 Nissan Kicks S Model . I've owned it only 6 months, and it has oil seeping out the weep hole at Transmission bell housing, trailing back an inch with a drop of oul on the oil pan bolt out , I would expect no oil leakage on a vehicle with only 3,500 miles on it . Very disappointed with this vehicle Cleveland, TN Nissan

This may be Chinese made video putting down competition. I have seen nothing to substantiate his claims. He does not refer to any model years and is simply generalizing. This is not professional work. Do your own research.

that's insane, but car manufacturers have already started to build cars in way that it becomes impossible to repair your car without a very specific tool and tech machine...

It's not just Deere, and it's not just agriculture. It's corporations - pharma, chemical, mechanical, software. They license rather than sell part of a tech package, and sell everything internationally. Trump is no different. Farmers exist in lots of countries. China isn't the cheapest. Put a tariff on China, work shifts to Vietnam.

Why don't they just try going back to a simple utilitarian Jeep, build them safe build them strong build them reliable scrap all the electronics. Put back the floor shift for the four-wheel-drive, use an actual key to start and stop. I've read, so many different comments, on sites that people just don't want all the electronics.

I made the mistake of getting a used 2012 Nissan rogue two years ago and it was not a great experience. The check engine light came on a few times, it consumed gas like a drunk and I had found out that the transmission was replaced 3 times. I’ve really learned my lesson to not rush and do my research before buying a car

Jeep, Dodge/Ram and now Harley Davidson is following in Stillatis footsteps and how ironic they’re all led by European CEO’s. These companies were once “nuts and bolts” American companies and now have turned to boutique companies, trying to be elite by raising prices at the cost of greed. Their quality control has also suffered by greed. They all deserve and need to go out of business and return to their roots. Perhaps Elon Musk can buy them and rescue the brands, since he knows how to run a business.

Crap build quality, suspect electronics, plastic parts, high repair cost and overpriced. people can't afford it and NO ONE in the US wants electric cars except the 2% leftist crazy people that can't afford them anyway. I saw a trend to this list Stelantis (crap decisions and crap quality at high prices) BMW (high cost, high repair cost and too many produced PLUS ugly) No well managed companies on the list. GM is also crap

My guess is GM and Chrysler/Jeep will soon need another bailout. Probably not happening under Trump. Nissan has never been among the best Japanese imports. They make attractive cars but they should have gotten rid of or never made the CVT. I’ve heard that they have doubled down on the CVT, doubling down to their grave. I bought 2 Nissans new, not buying them anymore. My best car ever was a Lexus. Convincing yourself that buying a Lexus, Toyota, Honda and Acura is less money spent in the long run is hard, but it’s true!
