Will The 2025 Toyota RAV4 Surprise Us All? Latest Info And Update!

Official release of the 2025 Toyota RAV4 plug in hybrid has come, but for us here in Canada, we haven’t seen anything official yet on the 2025 Toyota RAV4 and RAV4 hybrid.
Does that mean there is still a chance for something to change from the 2024 model?

The Toyota Rav4s are so solid. My Trail edition kicks ass. The Trail edition has a little higher ground clearance, better AWD system, all the bells and whistles inside (wireless charging, heated steering wheel/seats/windshield/mirrors), can tow up to 3500lbs. Super well built, comfortable and fuel efficient. I hope they keep it for 2025 and on.

I was hit and was flipped over three times! Height contributes to rollover crashes. It's God's miracle that I'm alive and still here. I was driving an RAV 4 XLE .Side hits and height can be deadly. Sincerely

I love this Rav4, and I have driven almost every generation. This model can handle, which makes it very unique SUV. I love the awd system and gas mileage.

Rav4s are great we have a 2019 Limited was the most durable car ever. We racked up 150,000kms until November 2023. Low maintenance car as we only did 3 oil changes and a filter totalling to like $350 maintenance cost in 4 years. When we traded it in, the dealer paid top dollar and we are now in a 2024 XSE. What a car!

3 oil changes in 93,000 miles is just stupid and irresponsible. That’s an oil change once every 31,000 miles which is over 3 times beyond the maximum limit. You shouldn’t go beyond 5,000 miles or 8,000 km between oil changes. Doing 3 oil changes in 93k miles or 150k km is destroying the engine.

@@I_discovered_civilization We thought it was 1 oil changes a year. We did oil change in Dec 2019 and the pand*mi*c happened in 2020 so no service was done until mid ‘21 and Late ‘22. We bought it new $33K and trade in was $22,700. Dealer didn’t say anything when we traded in. Great resale I would say. $215 month for a 4 year usage cost. Great job Toyota.

I am getting very annoyed at Toyota. Sienna has the same exterior since 2021 model year. Highlander and Corolla since 2020, and Rav 4 since 2019. Now they are getting so cheap and lazy they aren't even giving facelifts to the Sienna or Highlander. A facelift cost them probably like a hundred bucks. Complete new models are already overdue.

Highlander and Corolla get a redesign every 7 model years, the Sienna every 10 model years. The only one “due” for a redesign is the RAV4.

Yes! I got the surprise 2025 Rav4 😳🥰👍. Briefly, my husband and I ordered a new 2024 Rav4 XLE Premium Hybrid with the weather and tech packages in July 2024. We were told delivery in Sept. Received 2 phone calls from dealership - delivery delayed to Oct., then delayed to Nov. Possibly Dec. delivery. Salesman seemed to give us "scripted" excuses but on the 2nd phone call he said he will "move us up" to a 2025 Rav4. So...at this point, we're still waiting and waiting...Hopefully we get delivery by Christmas? 😳😬

Marcello, I am really 'primed' for a new RAV4 that keeps all the best features and finally matches the size of major competitors like the CR-V. More than that, I want to see full INVENTORY at Canadian dealers. I live in the 4th largest city in the country and my house is within 10 minutes of two Toyota dealers. Their lots are cluttered with used Nissans and Kias 🤢 because they have so few new Toyotas to sell.

The hybrid versions are the best of the gas + electric options. So really, Toyota could just focus on Hybrid and Full Electric version. For anyone wanting a full 4x4 gas-supported for all the power, look at another vehicle, as significantly most Rav4s are driven in the city.

I’ve had lots of cars in the last 20 or so years (auto addiction I suppose) including a handicap van, a Jaguar XK8 convertible , a Jaguar Model J, a Mercedes SUV, A Chevy SSR, 3 Lincolns (Hybrids) and 3 Toyotas (2 Hybrids) and Tesla Model Y. Ok, the Jag XK8 was my favorite of course but the 2019 RAV4 was the best overall. Looking forward to taking a very serious look at the 2025 RAV4. By the way, my least favorite was the Tesla. Decent car and fun to drive but range anxiety and the company itself are real problems. By the way, don’t make the mistake of buying solar panels from them.

Will the PHEV model be safe to pull a 2500 pounds van trailer? It is not a very heavy Van trailer but I’m worried that the CVT transmission might not be strong enough. What’s your opinion on this?

Perhaps off topic a little, but wondering how to delete the “Experience Drive Connect” blue screen ad once the trial period ends. I have two drivers using one Toyota app login which is what they recommended. It usually connects me just fine as the primary driver, but it seems to hang up for the secondary driver and sometimes when we are both in the vehicle with both phones. It is very annoying.

I I agree to that. Increase the prices this year or last year for the lx hybrid by $ 2k-3k and l can’t believe it they will be increasing the price of RAV4 again this year. This car companies are taking advantage of us and getting greedier by the day.

Unfortunately, with the Rav 4, they are going to get away with the price increases because of the demand. Say what you want about Toyota, but they have their reputation for a reason. Of course, they are not perfect, but I have been driving Toyota since the 80's and NEVER have I had an issue with any of my cars, even when I was careless about maintaining them. I didn't change the oil in my 94' Corolla for 5 years, and that car kept going. I now own a 2019 Lexus Rx 350 and a 2024 Toyota Rav 4 XLE. I'm all set for at least the next 20 years.

We put money down to get a money down Aug. 1st to secure a 2025 Rav4 Hybrid Limited. Two weeks ago our Toyota Salesman called and asked us it we were still interested. That the Rav4 will start to be built in Kentucky on Nov 11th and it should be in the dealership on Dec. 7th. At that time he did not know of any changes or updates on the 2025 Rav4 Hybrid.

Out of your control, but how about a TPMS or at least the option of having one. This makes no sense having this option not available. Eliminating this safety feature in Canada from a company stating safety is number one, is hypocritical. I know there are a lot of people who hate TPMS, but it is almost standard, even in the lowest end cars now. Toyota doesn't even need to design anything, it's already 100% done. I bet it costs more to have a specific production line, just to eliminate TPMS in Canada. Stop this stupid game and do the right thing. Not mandated in Canada is a lame excuse, either is a panoramic camera but I got one of those. I just hope toyota reads this. After- market systems are available, but it's not the same standard or accepted by in the US as good enough.

Toyota is known for screwing up a good design when they resdign next gen models...camry and corollas are getting uglier and uglier every generation...toyota should get a price on uglines in and out...when 1 specific model is selling well design is liked by customers why would you mess it up toyota ? Land cruiser 20 yrs ago was superb looks wise even today it looks good...current gen land cruiser yuk ugly....same formula will be used for Rav4 2026 it will be for sure hybrid only with a boring to drive CVT transm and updated ugly design...sit back and watch let 2026 rav4 arrive

@@markkennedy5335 really, they did not start to design new Rav4 yesterday and introduce today. Very likely It will be same hybrid system like in Signia and Camry plus whining CV transmission. Probably it will nicer and better than current Rav4 but definitely not a revolution in compact hybrids market. Maybe Toyota come up with better gas Rav4 ?
