I use minimalist barefoot sandals for everyday walk and road running, and altra shoes for trail running. I think you should consider road running altra shoes if you want to use altra for daily walk.

I usually walk 6 miles a day dog walking, so hit my step count; more if I’ve done a run. I turned off Garmin’s notifications for prompts to move, step challenges it automatically entered me in and other annoying media notifications. There’s functions on it I don’t understand or need, like body battery. Think I’m too much of a simpleton for a smart watch 😂

haha, good point! Maybe I'm not smart enough for a smart watch either. 😅

Sleeping on the floor means sleeping on the floor. Not put a mattress and sleep on the floor. I use a straw mat just in case some insect crawl on me. But that's that. And if you want extra comfort - use a bamboo pillow too. Those hard bamboo pillow is da bomb.

A straw mat, wow! I was just following advice from KZbinrs online and being a bit of a wimp to be honest. :P

@@PeteOnPurpose haha. I’m looking for a high calorie vegan diet. You should create a website with different types of diets that you have knowledge of and set a price for it or some type of subscription. I know you have it in you 😅

@officialLariahG If you’re vegan peanut butter and bags of nuts should still work so put your money away. 😅 Also I have a few videos with high calorie vegan meal ideas you may find useful, in the full days of eating playlist.

oh no. you've attacked the cult. good luck. second of all, if you think those products are "fairly priced" then you don't understand economics,, specifically the economics of the business model in question. Due to the hype and borderline cult around this trend/fad, as marketing is obviously a much larger line item for these companies than manufacturing costs, they're gouging poorly informed consumers with massive margins on those products. The shoes are made in the same developing country factories as any other mass market shoe. It would literally cost a few US dollars to have most of those shoes made. If they had enough volume ie revenue they would and could still make a healthy profit selling them for 1/3 (70% less), 1/4 (75% less), even 1/5 (80% less) the going retail on some of the absurd samples you showed . But the trendy cult members are willing to spend $170 on a shoe that could cost no more than $30 retail. So, good for them. Idk what you assume is so unique about these rudimentary and fundamentally primitive simple shoes that makes them cost so much, but it's clearly detached from reality.

I can easily believe that these new models of Feelgrounds are super comfortable and yet true barefoot. My older pair of tennis court style shoes by them is my current favorite casual* shoe. *those ones are not durable enough to be used for sports (basketball) for sure though.

The 4th reason you are mentioning. This happends every summer. Every summer i use to walk on slippers, sandals an at home mainly barefoot! By the time september comes around the calender i have to squize my toos back in the small spaces. And i will be hurt for a few weeks while my toes grow back together again. I am so done! With that s**t show. I tried barefoot shoes before that didnt worked out. So i bought my first lems, they arrived today. The other cushioned brands you named in the other video's dont really seem available on this side of europe. I will try some too spacers as well, to give my toes a break considering summer forget to arrive this year either. 😅

That pull up pal is silly money. That’s power rack with a multi position pull up bar and adjustable dip bar territory. It’s portable (ish) and if you’re short of space maybe it could be useful but it should be 150 quid .

I’ve completed removed my knee pain after wearing barefoot shoes for about a year now. The problem is, my forefoot has become so wide that even my current barefoot shoes feel tight and restrict my toes. Planning on getting some Belenka’s but idk if they’re gna look too wide and clownish. Usually i just wear sandals whenever i can cuz a they’re more acceptable ig.

I've been in barefoot style shoes for almost a year now and you couldn't pay me to go back. My feet and ankles are so much healthier and stronger and I don't get the knee pain I used to either. Honestly, it's one of the best things I think people can do for their overall health.

I highly recommend Altra’s line of running shoes. Foot shaped, generous toebox, zero drop, and a bunch of cushioning. Kind of the best of both worlds. I wear thin soled ‘barefoot’ shoes a good portion of the time, but for long runs and when I’m on concrete all day, SOME cushioning is helpful.

I've been doing keto since Jan 1st, but 90% animal based foods, so I guess ketovore 🤔. It took me 2-3 weeks to get my body used to the lack of carbs, sugar and processed crap that I have been used to consuming for most of my life. The "mental clarity", and increased energy didn't come around until about week 3-4, but I'm also a person who normally gets about 5-6 hours of sleep on a really good day. I've definitely noticed a huge shift in energy, and I can't tell when I am nearing 16+ hours between meals. I've been obese my entire life, and was at around 350lbs when I started, in less than 6 months I've dropped 80lbs, went from a size 42 pants down to 38/36=, and shirts from a 4x/5x down to a 3x/2x. I don't feel restricted in my eating, and at first I did miss a lot of the foods I had been used to, but now even eating a bite of rice, or some fries I just don't feel the urge to over consume like I would in the past. My diet has been between 20-30 carbs a day, but usually less than 20. Sugar less than 10g, and fat and protein can vary wildly depending on the meat I'm eating that day. I know it's definitely not for everyone, and depending on the individuals activity levels. For me personally, at least until I get to the weight I'm aiming for (used to be 250), I can happily say that I'm perfectly happy with my current diet and eating habits.
