You should listen to "Welfare Cadillac" by Guy Drake, you might find it as hysterical as I always did! I don't think there is a video or live performance but it isn't needed!

Here's something cool about Alice Cooper! He is a Born Again Christian, and when he is home he is involved with the music department and choir at his church.

album was 'Thriller'. watched the official release of the song 'Thriller' when it first came out, this was a breakthrough in the industry, at a time when music videos started coming out and MJ lead the charge with this and creativity. he achieved a lot just from touring, MTV etc at a time when the internet was not around. This album just cemented his solo career as a musical genius. note he did solo songs as at a very young age when he was still with the Jackson 5, and he did bring out earlier albums as a solo performer, the big one being 'Off the Wall', but this one (Thriller) was the one that he hit right out into the stratosphere and I would hazzard a guess that gave him the status as the King of Pop. This song, Billie Jean, was on that album which was a hit. This was an era that we had the two MJ's - Michael Jackson and Michael Jordon. Just tell your son to think about the hype for Taylor Swift fans, and then double that (I reckon) for anywhere in the world, that was how popular he was and is (music wise anyway).

According to his biography MJ never met “Billy Jean” this woman claimed MJ was the father to one of her twins. I agree many rumors, and so many who believe whatever they hear through the rumor mill. regardless MJ is a legend and my opinion is he earned the respect that should be put on his name and legacy! Luv the reviews, keep em coming 😊

Bill's comment at the start that he didn't know the song would be a hit was just for the comedy value. They both loved the song and flipped a coin to see which of them would get to sing it as a solo, and Bobby won.

It was originally written for a 1955 movie called "Unchained". It was used in the movie "Ghost". This was the way live performances were. Well dressed entertainers and well dressed audiences. Bobby passed away in 2003. Bill is still living. They were 25 when they did this performance.

That's weird to me that kids were afraid of Alice Cooper. I remember listening to him as a child and not being afraid. I remember the song welcome to my nightmare helped me face a fear. He was like a role model to me when I was a kid.
