Loved both Jesse White and Sid Melton, but with Charley Harper came the great Pat Cartoll as his wife Bunny....an unbeatable combo!

I wish Angela did play in the movie but of course Maggie Smith and the Dracula star. Angela put so much depth whereas the other actress was so flat two dimensional with a lot of shouting and also the relationship with, that I felt the depth, feeling and heart would put a new angle to the triangle as well as her objective and choices. From my days in school, even in grade school girls were daring when young both ways. By middle school they were more bullying on others in the class and manipulative over grades, homework and such. Of course by high school it became more polarized of them vs others working hard legit and vying our way independently. And I've seen so many in 5 years time age so fast and washed out after us cosmopolitans return, from NYC or other cities. The prime of... My 8th grade teacher just took over her family corporation, 5th grade resigned after sticky meddling, few others in high school more like Animal House. I think true end is our senior year when we choose our colleges & where we go next. The girl yelling and so forth accusing Mrs. Brodie I felt needed more than just a flat rivalry but some deeper understanding.

It's always funny to see old Danny Boy getting in trouble like that and it works out at the end.

The Danny Thomas Show went off the air before I was born, but I can't seem to get tired of this commercial. Between the supposed righteous indignation of Rusty Hamer, and the seemingly endless charm of Angela Cartwright just before she became the pre-teen stunning brunette from "Lost in Space," there's just too much about it too enjoy.

When you're a kid, you like Lost in Space because of the monsters. When you're an adult, lik it for the eye candy, which she was and still is.

Angela Cartwright was a doll. I’m glad she and her family moved to America when they did. I couldn’t imagine anyone else playing Linda on Make Room for Daddy.

I can see why she was not cast, the girls were meant to be Scottish or at least British but she still has a slightly mid-Atlantic accent and well traveled style which gives her more of a sophisticated finishing school image than Edinburgh in the 30's, I can totally see her alongside Hayley Mills in a Swiss boarding school with diplomat fathers.

Technically, after she and her family moved from England to the states, her normal accent was American.

She was born in England. However, after she and family moved the US when she was about 12 months old, her natural accent was American. I could be wrong, you know.

How awesome that we can watch these old shows from way back. I can remember watching these shows as a young kid. It’s a damn shame that they just don’t do tv like this anymore, now everything seems to be “reality shows.” Love that I can watch this on KZbin, brings back great memories.
