How do you replace the blue hose on the Dyson V15 laser cleaning head? I can't find a replacement hose for the laser head or any videos or instructions on how to do it. It's frustrating.

The old trigger piece did not look bad but the pivot holes were worn and elongated a very little bit, but it fixed the problem. Can't believe it was designed to be so critical..

I have the Dyson 7 animal. My bar will spin freely so I know the shaft is not stuck. It will not spin when powered though. The Minnie head works fine though. Do you know want the issue is? Some say to clean all electrical ports going back to the main vacuum motor. But if the Minnie will spin and work fine could that be the issue?

I’m interested in seeing the part where you take the gold plastic piece off the motor body there’s some purple foam in between the two gold pieces. How do I repair that purple foam seal? Mine is deteriorating and I could feel air blowing through. You skipped that part in your video.

Then I stop the machine again and take a 1-minute break and it works without any problems again. But if I take a 15-20-minute break and do not start the machine, it starts to have the same problem again. So I think the machine returns to normal after working and warming up a little. Wow! You are a genius. My vac smells like a wet dog. The smell is coming from the metal screen on my Dyson 15. I’m quite shocked that all the dust gets so deep into the vacuum.

Hi. Your guide is really helpful! However, the problem of my Dyson is one(out of 3) of the gears is stuck and doesn’t spin. It is stuck inside the tube. Other 2 fell off when I removed the motor. In your video, the issue is the motor. But mine is gear inside the tube. I tried removing the the Circlip hoping to remove the bearing and safely remove the small gear but it didn’t help. It’s difficult to forcefully remove the gear by hooking or pliers as it may damage the teeth of the gear. Can you please help and advise?

Have a same problem, this button just stuck inside... Never bought Dyson again! But my wife loves it 🙆 Don't know what to do.. throw this hoover out or my wife 🤔😂.

Hi. I have an s10. I checked two smd parts that have a zigzag resistor symbol. They are open. Would they be thermal fuses I can short over with wire? Leds on board light up briefly on power press but then go out.

We had some, the best I can describe it is gunk, in the receptacle. So tried to do the smart thing and clean it out in the sink. I think I got some water in the circuit/battery area. This video saved me from having to get another one as I disassembled then used a hair dryer on warm for a minute or so. Had a couple of drops come out that would’ve never happened without your video. Reassembled and it works great. So had a slightly different problem but your video was great. Thank you!

Hey, where did you know that you have to change only one Hall Sensor? Did you test them before? How?

Mine was stopping during use, found out that the fitting holding the brush in center was broken and loose. Everytime the brush hit a bump the motor would cut off due to the extra resistance. Ordered a new «end piece» (the opposite site from the motor) from temu. Fixed😃

Howdy! I have a problem with my V7. It runs perfectly in normal mode. Something like mins. If i put it into MAX Mode it directly quits running. Even if the battery was full charged. I also changed the battery, but same mistake... I think there must be an issue on the PCB. Where should I look? Or maybe do you know which part of the PCB I should replace..? I would be very thankfull if you could give me any help

V15 detect with similar issue. Display reads fine but machine stops after a second on all modes until after 6-8 attempts and then runs fine on Eco and Auto, but no good on Boost. Bought a new head unit but will try and disconnect the display and see if it cures this one, can always use if for upstairs 🤞🏻 Great video, many thanks, new subscription 👍

That connector is a btch, broke mine and can't find any spare parts unless I chop one off from another accesory. Terrible design and service.

I think the short is in the PCB in my case. When I do a continuity test on the two metal prongs of the pcb I get the beep. I think there may have been water contact inside. Should I let it dry or? The battery is fine and the leads connecting the battery to the pcb also looks fine.

Thanks! My switch wasn’t broken or cracked but apparently just flimsy enough to not always work. Bought a replacement switch that was much stronger plastic and now it works as soon as you start to pull the trigger rather than after squeezing it all the way down and still not working sometimes
