I have a ton of bolillos rolls. My WinCo sells them in huge bags and they are delicious. Do you have some ideas or recipes on how to use them?

It's not simply the sticking to a budget in order to get by, or maybe to save on monthly expenses to meet personal financial goals, but also her practices: good menu planning, etc. help cut down on food waste, which we sorely need in this country.

That is a great system! One thing I might do so you could have even MORE variety of meals during the week is, freeze the left-overs in containers and mark them (of course). So the next month when you decide to have that meal again, the left-overs will be in the freezer, ready to defrost and heat up for the meal. That way you won't have to have that meal more than once per month and the following month when you are ready to have it again, you won't have to cook since you will have already done so the prior month. I guess to get the system started, you'd be cooking different meals more days during the week, but once the left-overs start piling up in the freezer, you should have many days where all you need to do is reheat the left-overs. I love having food that I made in the freezer. It makes having dinner so easy since all I have to do is r open the freezer, take out what looks good and reheat it. It is like having your own frozen food case without having to shell out the outrageous grocery store prices for cooked frozen entrees which can run $7 or $8 or more for a single serving or $20 for a family of four.

First time seeing you. For those of us who are on a very tight budget and don't receive food stamps, we have to be very careful how we budget and also be very creative. Meat is never the main course meal. We are grateful to God for what we have. These are the best recipes every. Thank you soooo much for sharing. God bless you, and may He continue giving you a creative mind❤enjoyed your video very much👏♥️👏

I grew up in a poor Mexican household in the 90s didn’t care because my parents provided us with love and there was always food at home. My parents always bought a big bag of pinto beans, Mexican rice, potatoes, bags of noodle soup, some eggs and ground beef because it was cheap.

No one should be disrespect. She's a survivor. If rich people loose there money I don't think they could survive. The cost of living is hitting all our pockets. Im Puertican and Italian we can also put together simple dishes but we have aliitle more variety with some fresh produce. It's getting harder every day I'm a senior so we do a lot of soups with vegetables and a snall piece of beef can be stretched. Just got to use your imagination. Sauce can be made in big pot and frozen. 1 pack Ground Italian sasuage and 1 small ground beef can make alot of meat sauce. So in this day and age we will be survivors. She's only cooking for one person so she said she had children so she's spending more if she's cooking for a family. She coooked for 1 person think about it.

It don't make any sense why you squished those chicharron patties after flipping them over since you whipped them eggs to a merengue. You should have save the time beating the eggs and just scrambled them.

Although, I don’t buy the food that she bought or cook like she does, I really enjoyed watching this video for the very first time. This video may be very helpful to anyone on a budget or that may be struggling due to being a student, unemployed, or not having enough money to spend on food on a weekly or monthly basis. I subscribed to her channel so I can see her videos. God bless her and her family. Loved it! 😇
