Hi Kathy! Thanks for stopping by! What you do is take your first color & place it where you want it to cut the heart or first shape (make sure it matches where you have your virtual mat in your software). Then, you can have your wording on your mat as well as your shape, just put it in another spot on your mat & make sure it matches the same spot on your virtual mat. That way it all cuts at the same time. When it gets finished cutting, take it off the mat, if you want too (or you can leave it on the mat as I do) weed all pieces, then I take the wording & put it directly into the shape, smooth it out & then put my transfer tape on the entire design & them remove the design from the mat! Hello & Good Evening! Thank You for your kind words on our sweet boy Hanky! Sadly, Hanky passed away very, very unexpectedly on September 1st, 2020 as we were walking down our hallway going to bed that night as we always have each night. He all of a sudden fell over on our daughter's foot gasping for air and was limp. She rushed him to me & I immediately started CPR & mouth to mouth which was unsuccessful, sadly. I tried my very, very hardest to save him. I begged & pleaded with my baby to please not leave me, however, it was his time. We have NO EARTHLY IDEA what happened to him. He was PERFECTLY FINE & hadn't been sick or anything. Heck, we had just had a great evening with family & of course, he was center of attention along with his sister, Londyn Grace (another peke I have that has been hand raised since birth that also has a cleft palette just not the lip). Perhaps it just wasn't for me to know but I will always wonder. We had him cremated which has always been our plan since he was born if something happened to him because I could not think of my baby being placed in the cold, dirty ground. So, he sits in this beautiful, engraved urn with a special message from me, his mommy on it. I have a special necklace that also holds a very small bit of his cremains in it that I can wear anytime I want to have him close when I need or want too. Tears still flow every. single. day. & that's the honest truth. To most he was just a dog but to us, he was our baby, one of our kids & it just doesn't feel right without him here even 7 months (tomorrow) later. =( Thank You for stopping by & taking the time to watch & ask about Hanky! @@CrystalGrayArt Oh man, I am so very sorry for your loss of Hanky. My heart goes out to you. If it's any consolation, at least he did not suffer and things were good leading up to his passing. If they can't go in their sleep when it is their time, then the next best thing is just suddenly like that. I feel your pain. I lost my beautiful little Pekingese boy, Chet on April 19, 2020. It started off one of the worst years of my life. I think of him constantly throughout the day and I miss him so much. Thankfully, I still have his sister and only littermate. His passing has been very hard on her too. They were literally 2 little peas in a pod from the day they came to be. They were separated for one day when they each had a surgery. After a year my little girl still looks for her brother. I hope that you are finding comfort in Grace as I am in my little Ali. I have shared this little poem many times. Maybe you have seen it already. But it seems most fitting for Hank since he had mobility issues. I believe with all my heart that he is new again and a perfect and whole little puppy. This is for you... You'll meet me in the light I know that you can't see me, but trust me I'm right here. Although I'm up in heaven, my love for you stays near. So often I see you crying, many times you call my name. I want so much to lick your face and ease some of your pain. I wish that I could make you see that Heaven indeed is real. If you could see me run and play how much better you would feel. But our loving God has promised me that when the time is right, you'll step out of the darkness and meet me in the light. (And when that day comes it will be forever. )
