If i go to a registro civil in Mexico, does my application form nee to be in Spanish and if so, i cant seem to find it on any website. Do you know where i can find it?

after appointment they gave me an appointment to pick up my INE in person. how long do we have from that date on appointment to pick up my INE? or does it have to be exsctly on the date they gave me to puck it up?

how can i check the status of my INE, the comprobante de tramite states it would be ready 1/7/25 problem is I applied for it in Mexico and I am in the states. The town I applied randomly goes a few days a month and don't give much heads up so it's hard to book a flight and plan ahead.

Your Mexican parent doesn't have to be born in Mexico, just needs to have been Mexican at the time you were born

Having trouble!! Need Help, I was able to find my father’s birth certificate. When I get to the payment information part I get stuck. In this video most of of the payment information is not necessary. But now it all is I put in both the generic CURP and RFC with no luck.. not sure if it’s the way I’m putting in my address information, because it’s in Mexican format. Do I have to use a Mexican address to make this happen?

Do we absolutely need parents' birth certificates? I have both of the death certificates which state their place of birth. They were born in the 1940s so I have no clue how to get their bcs. I tried using the link posted in the caption, but it cannot find them.

Hello. Thank you for your video. It was very informative. My issue is I am married to a Mexican citizen. We have been married for 20 years. We have always use his first last name, His mother , and not the father who is the second last name. Upon trying to get our children dual citizenship from the consulate we were told we could not because of the last name we have been using. The problem is all of me and our daughter’s documents..birth certificate, drivers licenses, passport, bank statements, house deeds etc is in this last name. My husband said he would go to Mexico to withdraw his father’s last name from his birth certificate because he didn’t want us to have to change our last name. While this is not an issue for the US it’s an inconvenience and disgusting to not be able to get our daughter’s dual citizenship.

I used the E Gate last year. It was literally 4 minutes to get through. Baggage was about 90 minutes
