I’m new in this game But I was thinking x2.5 per yard If it cost me $40/yd and customer needs 3yds then it’ll be $300 total cost What you guys think?

I been landscaping for 15 years and just got serious on my laswn business and keeping customers. I charge 80$ per hour just solo. It works out for me how ever long I’m in the property for clean ups is how much I charge per hour

Can you compare this to the newer brushless leaf vacuum/mulcher/blower RY404015? Thank you

@geezerbob691Ай бұрын
I love my Ryobi vacuum. I use my leaf blower to pile up the DRY leaves, then use my Ryobi to suck/cut them up. Next, I'll empty the bag in my melon gardens and rototill in the mulched leaves that helps prepare my soil for spring planting. I get four bagsful per battery charge. Four years use now, original battery.

I was waiting to see the part where you show how to use the machete. I just planted these plants as shrubs for the front of my small townhome. I have never used a machete and I am afraid I will ruin the plant.

Every job is different, there are variables as to how tall they are, how much they need to be cut down, how wide is it, how long the hedge is, so all those factors go into the price

I use this for vacuuming ***close*** around the house - by the door-entrances or rock beds. These spots are a pain with the blower because I cant get close enough to the house to blow away the leaves -and - if I blow towards the house I make more of a mess and takes longer to clean the entrances. Once I have cleaned those areas - I switch over to the blower to blow things away from the house. As far as mulching - Its not worth the time and hastle for me - I would rather get another green can or fill a some extra bags.

I don’t disagree, with the right tool sure! With the proper chainsaw it’s out under a minute. But not everybody is going to have the proper chainsaw to knock it out like that. This Ryobi Chainsaw will cover the most common stumps.

@ I think a little traditional chainsaw is a must for every gardener 🧑🌾 but any means is justified if a good result is achieved. How is going your new business?

I am not keen to use a machete, if I use a new Ego electric hedge trimmer and keep it sharp will that damage the plant?
@Greenergroundslawnservice2 ай бұрын
The thing with the hedge trimmers if you look at how the blades move, that motion will chew up the leaves from the Clusia. No matter how sharp it is, you’ll likely chew up as many leaves as it’ll cut. So overall, the plant will likely release more sap which will cause more yellowing and browning of leaves than necessary.

what I do is get my 40v Ryobi blower and move all the leaves and twigs and stuff in a pile then with a little elbow grease pick it up.. I guess this would be good for a person that has a bad back or a small yard.. but its still bulky to me.
@Greenergroundslawnservice3 ай бұрын
Agreed! And the suction is really only good for smaller stuff, definitely not a drop of dew or rain on the leaves.
@greatfullded3 ай бұрын
@@Greenergroundslawnservice Too bad this didnt have the suction as a dry vac.. then it would be alot better but at first it was not that powerful to take in alot at once.. and as you said with wet leaves or freshly cut leaves it would not like that..
