@gazellis19614 күн бұрын
Well the Emerald Isle looked and worked brilliant for her maiden voyage,awesome footage as always ,you guys make everything look so easy. Got to admit seeing the new boat with a big steering wheel strange as Fish tales had like a joy stick if I remember right? Stay safe guys
@EISAlaska3 күн бұрын
Thanks, gazellis! Everything went so smoothly! Yep, we actually don't even steer with the Fish Tale's "joystick" haha! We use the knob on our autopilot control which controls the direction of the rudder. The Emerald has a bit different of a system, since it has a steering pump hooked up to the engine.

Is the following question appropriate: "What type of emergency support is available for injuries or engine failures, and how quickly can it be obtained?" thank you so much for this insightful video.

are you going to put poles on so you have stableizers

If you run 1550rpm, I think that's your best fuel consumption is. It sure spreads the water off the bow hey? Great run, a blessing fully. Woohoo ❤️🇨🇦🍻🇨🇦❤️
@EISAlaska3 күн бұрын
We're curious what the fuel consumption looks like! We haven't had a way to really gauge it yet since we don't have sight glass on the aft tanks which we're running off of. Very happy with how she scoots along though!
@GoldVP...3 күн бұрын
@EISAlaska it does move well. Full holds would keep you more stable. What about having those fins that hang off the sides? Can't remember what they are called
@BillHenkhaus4 күн бұрын
those were some nice fish. just an estimate on the weight.
@EISAlaska3 күн бұрын
I think this trip was 3300 lbs IFQ weight, around 4k round.

@coryrodger14854 күн бұрын
I was wondering is it possible to insulate your floor to reduce the engine noise
@EISAlaska3 күн бұрын
We will be! We have to order sound dampening insulation, probably rockwool, because nobody carries it on the island.

Great video again guys, You must be happy so far with the performance of new boat. Couple of questions, do you pay for the ice and I noticed they offload your catch now ?.
@EISAlaska3 күн бұрын
We don't have to pay for the ice if we deliver to the same plant. Same thing for the offload, they take the fish off with their own crew.

Super great video. thanks for the educational video. watching from Texas and it was fun watching what all it takes. showed that there is alot more work too it than just baiting and tossing the line out and bringing in the fish. I have been watching now for a while and love all your videos. Like shottsie said, you have a real reality show going on. Thanks.
