I consider myself having a love for puzzles, but while these disentanglement puzzles are cool as hell, I have no idea how to approach them, even watching the solution feel like magic to me

I got this years ago when I travelled in Thailand. Seems so simple at first. The vendor told me if I can get the solution in 10 minutes I could have it for free, but if not, I had to buy it. I had that damn puzzle with me the whole trip. Every photograph of me my head was burried in that damn puzzle trying to figure it out. I eventually got it about two years later. I was so excited, I never wanted to undo do the solution because it had taken me so long to finally solve it. Then I knocked it off the table and the solution was gone for ever... great memories. Thanks for sharing... where does one find this puzzle these days?

I did not find this helpful. You are still doing an algorithmic method. Some are extremely lengthy.

This video, combined with Jeff Varasano’s explanation of the cube (which details exactly the same methodology) helps me understand the cube a little bit better! And the signoff is such a no-brainer, that I’m grateful for you to make, as I need to take those notes because I keep forgetting the moves I did. (Bit of a weird sentence construction, but I mean it as a little jest, because I totally did not think of it myself to take notes of the moves I make).

OMG. I’ve been working on this on and off for ages. Took me a week to even find the name so I could find this vid. No wonder I couldn’t do it, the hand strength required to solve mine involved a pair of pliers to grab the side. 0/10 do not recommend. I prefer puzzles with brain and logic requirement, not force.

Just solve the puzzle. No need to get full theoretical about it. You just made it way more confusing than it should've...

What an enigma - just got enthralled seeing Real Civil Engineer play 20 small mazes. Which led me down rabbit hole here. A puzzle maker, with a successful puzzle based youtube channel leaves it behind for 6 years (apparently to care for his daughter?). Makes two amazing puzzle video games for free. What kind of man is this?

To anyone like me who used to watch Fleb and is still itching for more content, he just published a game! It’s called 20 small mazes and it’s free on steam. Good to know he’s still kicking and is out there making his own cool puzzles.

In playing disentanglement puzzles (logic wire puzzles) you must always remember abstract key concepts for solving like "Mobility", Trial and Error, Symmetry, Mirroring and Stress and Pressure (Emphasis, Tempo), Thinking Outside the Box, Logic etc. applying to your medium avoiding dislocations damaging your toy. I'm a hustler on playing these games and have a collections with this kind of puzzles
