So if I’m taking photos of moving things Sony is better?

First time I watched any of your videos and saw people complaining in the comments about the mention of your presets... I honestly didn't mind at all, I don't think you need to tone it down. Keep the good work!

Love the content! I've been doing photography & videography works for more than 6 years now, all started from just hobbies. But, it started to get boring over time so im thinking of joining the military or government works. Obviously i wont just give up all my taIents and hobbies just like that, i just feel like "hobbies are hobbies and not jobs" that way hopefully i can not get bored and appreciate more when im doing photography as my "true hobby". It's really funny that we both have a total opposite way of careering hahahaha cheers mate!!

I love the 28mm as an edc/walkaround lens. That's why I'm bummed out there's not an mkii of the fuji 18mm F2.

Can't understand why the build the Zf so big. Even bigger and heavyier than Z7. Coming from Fujifilm its to big for my taste of every day camera.
@mudjahedjin5 күн бұрын
For me its the usage. Fujifilm teaches you on the way. it makes you have a look for a second, think about a proper film sim that would prevent all the "ill do it in post" issue. if you dont shoot every 0.5 of a second like its a fast paced event or a Japanese fashion set, go for it. U wont want to stop shooting.

This is a great video! I learned a lot though still struggling to edit because I'm using darktable instead of lightroom, but I'm still picking up great tips. I'm very thankful for the explanation on the saturation and vibrance. I've always been meaning to read up on the difference but I keep getting distracted on lots of other information. I really love your color style and compositions.

Do you think it’s a focusing issue or that with it being a smaller sensor and ultra high megapixel the camera itself is extremely susceptible to defraction?

I just got a Nikon Zf and I love it. So far I have the 40, 50 and 85. Would you recommend the 28 to round out my kit? I mostly do portraits, but I also do some environmental portraits. Do you think 28 is too wide for environmental portraits or do you think it’s pretty great? Your work is fantastic!

Excellent shots and nice work building out your argument. I'm also on Sony a7c gear and I love my 35mm, 24mm and 40mm primes. Strangely, however, because I also love a bit of power and compression, I find myself leaving home with the Sigma 28-70mm more often than not.

I use the Caleb Salvadori V5 film presets because they actually offer something unique with the luminance grain masks. Good vid but it does feel like you are pushing your presets and they don’t seem to offer anything unique.

Finally got around to getting the Sony 40mm G for my a7IV, really loving this combo. 40mm has been a favorite of mine for a while, I also have the Canon EF 40mm f/2.8 STM I use quite a bit on my Canon EOS-1n 35mm film camera and love it on that camera as well! 🙂📷

*sigh* Getting old sucks. More and more of my friends are told by their doctors to switch from backpacks to rolling bags, even those friends who get regular proper exercise to keep strong core, back/chest, and leg muscles. How are you finding the weather sealing on the Viltrox primes? I can see getting nailed by a rogue wave like you showed in your video.

I like your idea of looking at photos that inspire or you like and break them down, background style, focal length, etc. I also have a question. When you said that your favorite two focal lengths to use ar 24mm and 50mm, is that on a full frame or full frame equivalent? Like if i was using an aps-c sensor camera, would it be roughly a 16mm and 33mm lenses? I really enjoyed the few videos of I've seen and am diving in to more of them as I can, thanks!

I’ve been testing the Viltrox 13mm f/1.4 for astrophotography-super sharp and great for wide-angle shots! However, TTArtisan’s 17mm f/1.4 has been my go-to for travel photos, thanks to its compact size and dreamy look.

3rd party lenses are amazing but they all have a BUT no 3rd party lens can shoot at Sony body high frame rate with 3rd lenses capped at 15fps shoot rates also hit rate of 70% or less when shooting moving objects and auto focus wise missing shots. 3rd party lenses are great for stationary subjects but not fast moving subjects.

The Sony footage actually looks great! In many cases, I thought the Sony image was from the Red. And the recovered overexposed and underexposed image looks better than I imagined. I really wanna buy fx30 now😁 love this video!

@9:21 he is comparing Fuji native lens costs with 3rd party lenses that need an adapter for the Nikon. Thats not a true apples to apples comparison. Besides Nikon has virtually abandoned APSC (at least I couldn’t find many Nikon APSC prime lenses). For those who prefer small light systems that travel well (airlines have a 7kg limit for carry on baggage) Fuji still has a decent selection of small light F2 APSC lenses.

I purchased a 45MP Sony A7R3a with 35mm 1.4GM and although the sensor and resolution was amazing, I ended up selling it because I hated editing the files and shooting the camera felt horrible. In addition, Fuji has a certain magic about it the way it handles light rendering. I have considered GFX as a next logical step.

Hi buddy, I bought the A6700 yesterday, should I get the Sony 50mm f/1.8 OSS or Sigma 56mm f/1.4? The a6700 already has IBIS so I think I don't need further stabilisation. Am I right?
