For even more improvement. Ditch the springs. I replaced mine with rubber bumpers. Way, way less wobble. If you are having trouble with z wobble try it. Mine are orange.

First of all, thanks for the video. I did exactly what you did, however when I press Auto Home the z axis collides with the table. I'm using the connection as shown. To rule out that it wasn't wiring, I used the BIGTREETECH firmware and it worked perfectly, however it doesn't allow negative z_offset and I would like to use my own firmware like you. Do you know what I could have done to prevent the z axis from stopping with the BL touch?

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but you said in the video that there's some cables in the box and none of them are going to really help us. But one of the cables in the box is an ultra low noise adapter cable that reduces the fan speed from 1400 to 1100 RPMs. For 10 bucks I got a buck converter that has a temperature gauge built into it and it comes with a little case too. One other side note, I have the Ender 3 regular version and my fan was wired the opposite way it was blowing air out of the case, also my negative wire was plugged into the positive terminal written on the board. If you take off the actual connector from the two pins that, definitely not on accident, it says positive and negative next to the pins and mine had the negative on the positive terminal but the fan wasn't spinning in reverse 😅. I have the Ender 3 with 4.2.2 board. Now a 4.2.7 due to stepper noise...

Marlin is showing that its flashed, but no CRtouch, and no updated printer name. When looking into this further, it says new may not be flashed because of EEPROM but I am not savy enough to understand what I need to change in the code. Can someone help

The scanner is awesome the software really s ks. It won't let you connect to the phone and when or if you get the project into the software on the computer - nothing works. You can't optimize or mesh or even detail it - nothing works. And it is truly phenomenal when you do get a file/ project/ whatever transfered to the computer from the phone - because it never happens I spent 8 hours trying to get it to work and each time - network failure . . . . . great paper weight.

Please point me to how to get to the 300 degree setting.

Hey there! I know this video is kind of old, but I am hoping you can help me with a weird issue I'm having. I have an Ender 3 pro with the SKR mini E3 V3.0. I downloaded the correct firmware from the Git Hub link you provided. I installed the CR Touch, and then plugged the SD card with the firmware.bin file on it (The only file on the SD card). I booted up the printer but it is stuck on a blank screen. I am using the stock Ender 3 pro screen, so it is blank when it does a firmware update. Did I do something wrong? Now I am worried I destroyed my SKR Mini.

Dumb question but how did you get that thermistor to stay in the intended spot? Mine keeps coming out. I know the little copper rod is for that but that's just funky way to fit that without locking it in place without the screw on stock hotends?

Hi Robbert I've an Ender3 and a BTT SKR mini E3 V3.0. I use the endstop on PC2. Everything you explain in your video (except the comment out for 'USE_PROBE_FOR_Z_HOMING' I've done. Homing is not going OK. The printhead goes to the right spot, the probe deploys. When the probe reaches the bed the pin goes up. But the printhead keepes going down. I hope you can help me!

I ran into a problem when using Marlin "Nightly" Builds 2.1, the latest version, where it wouldn't build the environment. You have to comment PROBE_MANUALLY afte uncommenting #define BLTOUCH or else, you won't be able to build it

I'm helping a friend with his btt skr mini e3 v3 install on a ender 3 max neo. He has added a sprite pro hotend and that hotend fried his oem main board somehow. He got the hot end replaced and bought the btt board. Now that everything is hooked up his screen is stuck on logo. Stock ender 3 max neo screen. We found that the btt screen pinkut is different and bough the repinned cable and still his screen is stuck on the logo. Any help if your still active would be awesome.
