The only gripe I had with this fight both in the anime and manga was that Sen was effortlessly dodging Kanoh in the beginning and then somehow starts getting blasted with normal strikes he should have seen a mile away. Perfect example is the final blow Kanoh landed on him to knock him out. Clearly he could see the gang charging right for him, had mentally prepared to dodge, and nope😂

Idk but despite Vi's or even Jinx's words, i felt they were subconsciously holding back, especially Vi. Her facial expression alone during the fight gave a look of doubt and sadness above the anger. And fortiche has been very detailed and deliberate with the animation of even the smallest details of body language, etc. down to the muscle twitches of characters, so the facial expressions say a lot.

"It's everything you ever wanted" reminds me of stories about deals with the devil, like the monkey's paw - where you get what you want but in the worst way possible. Like it's just as much a story about Francis' choices as it is about Oz's. She literally did a deal with the devil when she accepted Oz's offer when he was a child. She knew what he was but instead of getting rid of him, she chose to use his unnaturally evil tendencies to bring her the luxuries she'd never had - and supported and nurtured a demon and let it loose on the world. I feel like his tuxedo, her last lines to him.. his maturation period is complete and he doesn't need her any more except as a trophy/ornament 🤢
