I'm sorry I don't know anything about that, and I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't work. The Apple Silicon Macs are so limited. Even my M2 Mac doesn't support stuff like AV1 decoding.

Out of interest which graphics driver did you use for gaming, did you manage to find a game ready driver that worked with it or did you just use the correct pro driver for the card?
@NotFromConcentrateКүн бұрын
We use GRD for these cards no problem.
@Scotty24198424Күн бұрын
@@NotFromConcentrate Thats cool... how did you go about delecting which GRD driver to use or did you just select 4090 and dowload the latest driver?
@NotFromConcentrateКүн бұрын
@@Scotty24198424 Yeah, they are all the same. When you select which GPU you have your basically just telling Nvidia which card you have. Whether you get GRD or Studio it's the same story. We've done three builds with this card so far for gaming clients and the GRD drivers work great. No fuss at all.

Really nice case. The wood edges. If you sand it a little, it will clean it up. Still beautiful. Thank you for the content.
@NotFromConcentrate3 күн бұрын
Thank YOU for the comment! Regarding the sanding; as you know the edges come out charcoal black. I then sand them so they are clean but then I use a finger and don't do the last little bit because I like how it looks; a little rustic character. Some woods and projects I do but this is my preference, just in case anyone was wondering. <3

I wonder what the memory latency is like, this would be endgame stuff if the ram timings could be adjusted!! 🤯
@NotFromConcentrate5 күн бұрын
You can. Although the popular boards for these builds are the X300/X600 from Asrock and they have more modern UEFI.
@BBWahoo5 күн бұрын
@@NotFromConcentrateSFF Budget Low Latency is a niche that hasn't been done I think, I know the 'G' series has a really robust IMC and 3800mhz low latency would be perfect, here are mine. It is imgur, so see it there. 7soXMsB The premium would be in the ram kit, but that's the only premium, gaming and emulation would be incredible, no one has done this, and I think any decently priced 16gb ram kit could do it.

I'd actually buy this, I'm a Xbox series S user, and I wanted a PC to run modded MC and other games decently but I hate how not portable the big PC's are and how crap the Mini's are. I wanted one Xbox series S size if you get it. And that's perfect... How much 😂

It's a decent job (though would have been better with an internal disc drive and room for a full-size NVMe IMO as games are huge and 8TB+ is a must) but I'm curious why you're talking like you single-handedly took out the Chinese army when what you did was fabricate a case for some consumer electronics. Is it meant in a tongue-in-cheek way?

Yeah it's why I made this video. I was curious about it after watching all those videos, and getting to the bottom of HOW that could have happened. Once I found out how it happened, I realized it was a dumb mistake that wasn't malicious, and I saw how they handled it with recalls, extra support, refunds, and replacements. So then I got one and anonymously tested their support. The one I received I had a professional do a sweep on it with enterprise tools and it came back clean. It kinda killed the story I could have made, but I'm glad it was a redemption arc for them. I wouldn't blame anyone who never looks back though--it's why maintaining trust with consumers is so important and some mistakes you can't get past. But I think this one is. Peace!

Make sure you replace the thermal paste under the IHS of the Erying board with PTM7950 - it has really bad pump out and will make a hotspot that will eventually kill the CPU over time if you don't. Solid board otherwise, though.

I understand that thermal is an issue with these high performance computers but if apple is able to make a mac mini barely larger than a phone and you are able to design something small. Sony with all its resources can only come up with this. Also these gaming consoles are not launched each year like other techs they have 4 to5 years between each generation and still designed something like a fridge
