Amazing build. Really shows what the console could be if it wasn't for sony piracy and noise concerns. Personally i think i would sacrifice noise for size, i would just keep the disk drive in though. Running noctua fans like you did would already have a huge impact on size...

honestly this is kinda sad on sony's end cause we have people like you making their system better. i love the look and design that you did. if i had enough money, i'd pay you to build this. i love this. sony really needs to take notes from others like you that have done something like this.

the consoles would be a lot more expensive if they tried this design

i looked around for something like this before and found that studio desks are basically full of rack-mounts, if anyone is looking for something similar.

This is the best video I have watched on KZbin so far in 2024. The fact that you is have drastically reduced the physical size while keeping the idle + gaming temperatures close as possible is a technical marvel. Well done! 👏

What are the storage dividers inside the acro mills drawers? Are those first party? or printed?
@NotFromConcentrate7 күн бұрын
They are printed, but a VERY high quality file. I put the link in the description. My friend Gabriele helped me print over 40 of them and they are fantastic. They print really well too just do a pressure advance calibration.

The only thing where I'm jealous of Flexispot desks is the fact that they have designs where rolls can just attach. But, I have take a look at my desk and I have a couple of ideas on how I can make this possible with mine (it's really needed for me since I'm always bothered but I have a pretty big desk). I also envy your racks. Gave me the idea to do a similar project. Wanted to mount my work laptop under my desk for a longer time now, since it's just taking up space here. When I moved, I will tackle all these problems with my setup!

how much does it cost for the ps5 small and for the disc drive sir?
@danielhulan30587 күн бұрын
Why would you want an external disk drive? That doesnt really make sense. Yea it would be a little smaller but then it would just spread out. I mean yes your concept is pretty and sleek but having two separated consoles now just doesnt change much. It still has the wide layout just not as thick.

I'm very curious as to why you'd want the fans to keep running after the system is shut down. I remember projectors used to do that, and it never made sense to me. There is no current being added to the system so it's not going to get any hotter; it will only stay the existing temperature (which is safe since the system kept it at that temperature) and the heat eventually dissipates.

What a beautiful card. With SFFPCs getting more popular, I'm hoping we can get many more powerful tiny graphics cards. Low noise, power and portability, that's what many of us want.

Standing only effect productivity, because you wold rather do heavy physical labor rather than standing.

You aren't wrong. When I sit I'm more likely to waste time but standing takes effort so it reminds me I should be doing something.

Now just turn the table 180 and you will have a normal desk? :) that's what most want right, not to limited the use of the desk? Or did I Speedrun the video too fast and missed something

Yeah I have a segment about that in the video--just turn it 180 and it's a normal desk with a super cool backside to impress your co-workers. :)
