As someone who was told repeatedly that AI was gonna take over my job, before they gave up in the city it was conceived in THAT I work in, I still find that funny over 9 years later. And that's still true based on what I do now AND watching what test AI vehicles are doing in the area; not worried about it. That said, and 8 have a lot to say on the matter: , just like every other human invention, it's a tool, and it does what humans want it to.

Im not sure I agree with you on it being dangerous to Not do it. If they can think for themselves and learn, why would they do anything we told them to do? it wouldnt be long before we see and IROBOT situation.., yes I know im taking this from fiction, but I it makes sense that "god"like intelligence would want to take over. Suggestion..... pack into the carry-on/personal item either a small shopping bag or cheap collapsable $ storebag with stuff you need immediately on the plane... ie watee bottle,candy bars/food, flashlight,hand sanitizer, wipes for the tray and handrests, magazine, battery pack, etc...
