You mentioned that the armrests don't lock into place on the Amia. Is this any different with the Leap, Gesture or Embody's 4D armrests? From the videos I seen, none of them seem to lock in place.

I have this and Herman Aeron. S300 is my main while Aeron is my backup.

I dont know what I am talking about but the angle of the body when reclined doesn't look natural, healthy or 3ven comfortable. It has put me off buying one for years. Its the way it bends you neck and pushes the head forward.

The JÄRVFJÄLLET back support cushion is adjustable. Great chair for the money. Wish it had tilt tension adjustability.

My choice would probably be the Colamy basic ergonomic office chair. It looks to have many of the features of the Kirin and Atlas at less money. There look to be two versions a smaller one for smaller individuals currently at $59 (price varies from day to day) and the slightly larger one for about $125. Buyers Beware! Herman Miller has been dragging out my return... (2 Logitech Embody chairs). The first came horribly beat up and punctured...so when trying to refuse it with FedEx...they flat out refused to take it back that day and left it mid driveway, while also signing for it...not me (Shame shame...illegal)! Anyways, HM issued a label to return it that way...though again FedEx...who then rolled it end to end (Not supposed to do that either) finally picked it up...and HM issued a replacement...shipped before the other was returned. Well, the replacement was defective and damaged, yet no visible damage to the package. Well after contacting them over and over via phone and emails...and thru several agents...they finally provided me the final return label. However, it has now been almost a full month, and still no refund, or even confirmation of such. Then, they have been so desperate to keep my money, they keep trying to get me to buy another chair..or even locally at my nearest stores...and offered 30% off up from my original 24%...and then today, even offered to make one personally for me from Michigan to again ship to me. Even after telling them I am only interested in my refund! UGH!

Bah, just tell OL to just go F themselves...and make better stuff! LOL But, I will say...visually...and only in appearance, the OL does look more appealing.

Thanks for the video! I can't decide between this chair and the Colamy Atlas... the lumbar support and armrests seem better on the Branch, but I don't know about the headrest. The Branch can have one, and it's something very important to me to have a good headrest. If anyone's going through this, what's your opinion on it?

FUN test for you: take a deep tabletop like 90cm. add the big screen and speakers at the rear for weight. Extend to max standing height. Then test SWAY. BUUUUT. Change the location of the legs. Some would say o the rear because thats the weight, but then your making a fulcrum and archemedes said you can move the earth. Some say the middle so a T, but, I have. a sneeeaaaaaaaky suspicion that legs at the front is best. If the table top is reinforced, can hold the static weight, and you touching and leaning which is dynamic weight, is at the short end, that mitigates your movement as you are at the fulcrum. the pivot point. Would this not be a fun non intuitive test?????? (No I am not crazy, my mother had me tested.)

Just stumbled upon your video, as I'm now looking to buy a new chair to exchange my Ikea Järvfjället. It helped me to make up my mind about the size. I feared that XL would be too big for me with my 173cm, and with regular I feared it would be too narrow, and that fear seems to be kind of confirmed. If I don't find better and affordable chair, secret labs would be on my buy list.

Would you recommend the Haworth Fern Chair in leather verses the fabric seat. I would prefer if they made the seat in leather and the back in back in mesh.

I posted this on one of the comments but I just got a dexley and it has variable tilt lock not just straight upright. Its in the assembly guide but I figured it out just messing around with it.

I sat in this chair for literally 10 hours straight. No back pain, no butt pain, just comfort. THANK YOU SO MUCH for your hard work on these videos. I was able to use your code for the re-manufactured Crandall and $60 off; totally worth $500. And they are wonderfully personable there. They even walked me through assembling (after I did it incorrectly). Also, I watched several hours of other sites that present chairs and yours is easily the best. I didn't have to give you my email, phone number, or subscribe to your site (like others we won't mention).
