I thought that episode was great but my favourite episode of Season 6 was The Mega Man Battle Royale. Favourite Death of the season (and series) was Ganondorf's death in Ganon vs Dracula. And that episode holds my favourite quote in the show's run. Least favourite episode, Aang vs Edward Elric. Least favourite Death, Captain Marvel's death or Weiss' death. Least favourite quote. "Time huh? Thanks for the tip..." Sorry for sharing so many unnecessary opinions that you didn't need to know about.

I didn't mind Green Lantern winning, but my god that last part felt really sloppy....the whole time travel gimmick just didn't feel correct. It REALLY hindered my enjoyment, but I understand the high placement the fight had, before the messy ending it really was fun to watch.

Admittedly this is probably my second favorite season, but mostly due to the quality improvements the previous seasons didn’t have. However I still ended up liking most matchups this season and all the ones I didn’t like were mostly meh (Aquaman vs Namor, Widow vs Widow, Marvel vs Marvel, Weiss vs Mitsuru, and Aang vs Edward). I’d say my favorites are Ganon vs Dracula, Megaman Battle Royale, Ghost Rider vs Lobo, All Might vs Might Guy, and Falcon vs Johnny. However this season easily has the best scores with non being bad for me other than Widows Kiss (good backing track like you said, but just ok on its own), Elements of Alchemy (Same thing), and Draconic Robotics (just kinda a personal one for me cause I just think it’s kinda boring), but Emerald Heroes, Mighty, Megamania, Ride into Hell, Falcon Uncaged, and Dangerous Gaze easily make up for it. I do think that season 5 is better, but I think it’s easily better than the other 4 seasons.

dracula vs ganodorf was almost perfect but what ticks me off is that they kept the holy weapon thing showing ben stilling hasn't learn what a no limit fallacy is, and basically implies Dracula would have the same fate as bowser if wasn't for holy nuke spell (despite the fact he literally stomps and just like bowser has ways around it) edit the same thing with lobo and ghost rider given lobo has resistance to soul manipulation and destruction that literally ghost rider penance would have tickled him no joke

I find that Hiei vs Sasuke isn't given enough credit- in fact it receives a ton of hate only for the victor alone. However, I do think the animation while shotty in some aspects, was fine over all(especially the finishing blow like you mentioned being stellar). I, myself personally despise Naruto; although, I must say give Yu Yu Hakusho a watch, I know you didn't seem very interested in Hiei as a character but most people love characters of Hunter X Hunter, the author of it made Yu Yu Hakusho before hand and the writing and characters are pretty well developed. Especially in season 2. I can't recommend the anime enough to those who appreciate a consistent narrative. Hiei, to me, is a fantastic character once you give him a chance. I found out about Hiei, and YYH in general from that DB, so hopefully you take this advice.

I won't do my list because last time that took too long but instead I'm just going to give my overall opinion of the season, Season 6 is one I am very mixed on. I get that Season 6 was about having odd ball matchups but I don't think it was for the best as I didn't feel any hype from most of the matchups, except for The Megaman Battle Royale and Mechagodzilla vs Dragonzord. There were a lot of fights that just left me confused instead of excited such as Captain Falcon vs Johnny Cage, which they really should've made Captain Falcon fight Viewtiful Joe, and Wario vs Dedede, which really should've been K Rool vs Dedede. I know it sounds very minor but a good matchup brings in hype, excitement and anticipation which were emotions I very rarely felt this season and for me, anticipation is one of the reasons I love Death Battle. Fortunately everything else was great, a majority of the episodes ranged from meh to great with most of them being great in my opinion, not to mention it had some fantastic fights such as All Might vs Might Guy and, despite me not being a fan of the matchup, Captain Falcon vs Johnny Cage. Strangely enough though my favourite thing this season was the music, there were so many great songs this season such as Emerald Heroes, Kings of the Sea, Mighty, Falcon Uncaged, Appetite for Greed, Dangerous Gaze, Goodbye Chimichanga and much more, in fact the only songs I didn't like was Winter Sonata and Widow's Kiss, which also happen to be the score for my 2 least favourite episodes of the season. Overall it was a good season but I feel Death Battle going for oddball matchups this year was a risk that did end up ruining some of my enjoyment.

Honestly, I don't think there were any bad episodes this season. They seemed average at worst, and amazing/hilarious at best. I think Wario vs Dedede was my favorite. It checked all the right boxes with me. IMO, the worst fights are the ones where they don't really care about either character or their franchise (Pit vs Sora), while the best ones they actually get into it and leave the fans serviced and having a fun time regardless of whether they won or lost (Jack vs Afro). You could tell they cared here to the point where I correctly guessed that Chad mains Dedede in Smash. They even added a crossover backstory between two characters from different franchises in the middle of the episode, and it felt perfectly in character. The jokes worked, and it was great seeing a wide array of wacky abilities play off each other.

16th) Weiss vs Mitsuru - I only really liked the explosion joke...but other then that everything else was just okay to me 15th) Shazam vs Captian marvel - I really liked shazam and was happy to see him win but, all your points are extremely valid 14th) Aquaman vs Namor - Wasn't interested in the matchup but after seeing it I do think it was a nice start 13th) Mob vs Tatsumaki - Before I say anything I never knew these characters existing (now I really like both of them) and while I don't know if the verdict is correct the animation was just fucking mouth wateringly good..some valid points on the different hand drawn styles and mobs sprites but I think it was cool (And this is where it gets hard to rank things..) 12th) Aang vs Edward Elric - I love the characters so much. Aang is literally amazing and ed has...that voice actor..but was funny and dope as hell to watch..the fight was fun but the killing blow was just really lazy and the fight didn't feel to interesting..plus no jokes that stuck 11th) Ghost Rider vs Lobo - again I adore both characters as they are the definition of amazing. But the fight kinda felt a bit long sometimes...however wiz and boomstick I found funny and the fight was epic. 10th) Black Widow vs Widowmaker - Obvious stomp aside the animation and voice acting and them beautiful violins were all I needed in life 9th) Deadpool vs the Mask - why this is considered the best idk. There are better fights. Not like it was bad cuz the animation was just...so fucking good and jokes just...theres no word to describe them. (It gets even harder at this point) 8th) Johnny Cage vs Captain Falcon - Yeah amazing characters and great jokes...only complaint is on the animation sometimes being clunky 7th) Ben 10 vs Green lantern - The verdict is correct shut up you salty fanboys...I am a fanboy as well and ben 10 is my childhood. What can I say that I haven't said before good animation good voice acting (ben is a bit off) really funny jokes. But the ending was really stupid and the reason to why green lantern one should of been explained better. 6th) Megaman Battle Royale - this is hard to put here because I love megaman. Not saying its bad. Oh it is really really REALLY good but the other 5 fights I like more. 5th) Sasuke vs Hiei - I love this fight so much (because my friend is a salty naruto fan and he made it so enjoyable) however my only complaint is the fight is oddly short for something people were really hyped for..THAT MUSIC THO I CAN'T LIE IT WAS PERFECTION. 4th) All might vs Might guy - everything is great except I wasn't to excited and that the track name kinda sucks...oh and sometimes animation is clunky but it was awesome. 3rd) Wario vs King Dedede - God this fight was a blast to watch and made my stomach hurt from laughing. I don't have really any complaints...maybe that the waddle dee having the mouth was ew. 2nd) Ganondorf vs Dracula - yeah elephant out of the room animation is perfection. The fight was so fun to watch. Wiz and boomstick were funny. Yeah its great but I only complain about the music as its not really my taste 1st) Dragonzord vs Mechagodzilla - I love this so much. First my only complaint was sometimes the animation was clunky. But the music? Draconic robotics is my second favorite song behind dangerous gaze. The animation was still good. It was very fun to watch and...Its two fucking big mechanical dragons fighting like dude thats awesome Overall this is in my opinion the best season yet and season 7 is looking to rival it...I'm very happy with this season and am Hyped to see s7 finish.

Ben 10 stomps Green Lantern, it is by far one of the blatant showings of bias Death Battle has shown. I love Green Lantern but he doesn’t beat Ben in the slightest, fuck this battle and it deserves all hate it gets.

@@WolfDB if they did an episode like Green Arrow vs Whis from Dragon Ball and Green Arrow won because of misrepresenting Whis and pure bias you’d be fine with that since “the animation is good and the analysis from Bias fucks says the research shows he pulls a win out of his ass”

@@ThatOneDude1509 First off, they've stopped using that tagline since new stuff constantly comes out Second, Not only do I know for a fact that they aren't biased since I know the people who researched this episode, but anytime someone says "Death Battle is biased towards/against [insert character here]" the person saying that tends to be the biased one Third, before you go saying I'm biased, I GREW UP WATCHING BEN 10 and Hal Jordan is one of the DC characters I don't really care about, and yet I reached the same conclusion when doing research with the fan blog
