How does someone plug the speaker cable to the outout? Can you screw the speaker wire inside the screw hole?

I would buy a Speed Queen if they had controls for water levels, it's a deal breaker not to have this.

They must coat the tools with corrosion inhibitors to prevent them from corroding. Corrosion is not covered under the warranty from what I understand, so to buy them with spots of corrosion would be a lot more upsetting then cleaning them, which is what most mechanics do anyway after use anyway.

I agree with you about the Speed queen but its only tehir TR line up. The TC5 that I purchased his still a winner.

I used to have these in my old apartment and I have to say I was not impressed. Before we got front Lowe’s, we had speed clean top load washers and they were fantastic. I basically decided that front load washing machines were not for me until I went on a trip recently and stayed at an Airbnb that had a front load washer that I was forced to use. The first thing I noticed is that the very first wash cycle was about 25 or 30 minutes. That’s like twice the time or three times the timeof the speed queen. Let me tell you, it makes all the difference because my clothes were impressively clean. These are well crafted machine machines, but the wash times are not great.

I have this exact turntable and there was no need to stop it when it got to the turntable because it detects if there is a record on it and if there isn’t, it will go back to the stand automatically. There are sensors that will detect the size of the record which is why if you have it set on 33 and you play a 45, the sensors let the turntable know where to drop the arm.

Is there an option to add more water ?

Our VP17-2 has been going for over 20 years - the purchase price has. Even forgotten long ago. We pit a timer on to cut the electrical costs overnight.

thanks for the video. Just purchased my FF7 and have been trying it out. I'm having some issue with using the Oxi clean option. I'm using one full scoop from the jar it came with per instructions and throwing it directly into the FF7 tub, looks like I have allot of build up in the gasket for some reason. I'm confident it's something I'm doing wrong. i don't see much info online or even the manual that has detailed information on the oxiclean cycle. the other detergent i have is ultra concentrated liquid TIDE he type. for a full load I'm adding to 2nd or 3rd line in the cup. to much maybe?

I would love to have this washer... not the dryer though. My favorte dryers are whirlpool standard dryers... 7.0 cubic feet. (which I have, in white) I think this speed queen would look so good beside it... even though they're totally different brands... I only care that they match in color... not brand.... and I think this would be almost the same height as the dryer... I noticed on the panel allergy rinse but also a separate extra rinse button... I wonder what the difference is?

This seems like a fine unit! Use to go to the laundromat back in the day and they used speed queen commercial washers i liked them alot gets it done fast! Id imagine the home unit version are just as nice as the commercial ones are👍👍

Thank you. Confirmation that the washer fills with water continuously and does not pulse like an LG. This is important if one has a tankless on-demand water heater. Our LG never gets hot water and is overworking the water heater with the rapid on-off pulses. This has made SQ a consideration.

I have the same unit and absolutely love it! If i ever have to buy another mower it will be another commercial honda or maaaybeee a xmark commercial self propelled with the kawasaki. I do like the extra width cut on those, but if i had it to do over again id buy this unit as fast as i did the first time!

Whats even more idiotic is the fact that honda actually put a drain plug on a stupid mower thats light enough to simply turn on its side and drain thru the dipstick tube! Come on Honda engineers!!! Sheesh

This set today retails for $5120 in 2024, consumer reports has LG rated far above the Speedqueens for 2024 and I can get the LG set for $1800. Even if the LG only lasts 10 years its still a better deal from where I am sitting for the LG. What are your thoughts? Would you buy theses today if you had had to pay almost twice the price you paid when you bought these?

I still have mine from the mid 80's. I just had a tune up and new Ortofon Bronze cartridge installed. It works perfectly and sounds great. 40 years later !!

Good Quality machine . I don’t like the idea of cheap plastic on those other machines either . Do know what temperature it brews the coffee ?

Overall we like our Maytag Commercial washer. However, we have two issues. 1) Clothes are getting bleach stained if washed after a previous bleach wash. It's as if the but doesn't rinse out all the bleach. Any comments regarding this issue are welcomed. 2) Seems to go off balance quite easily. It would be nice if the machine would stop and warn us when it is off balance and allow us to redistribute the load. The washer tends to attempt to spin even though it is jumping around. It finally gives up and finishes the load, with sopping wet laundry. If we redistribute the load after this and run a drain and spin, they will come out alright. Do I need to replace the springs holding the tub? The washer is still quite new.

About 10 years ago I bought the home version of this coffee maker (with a thermal carafe ). It has been an excellent coffee maker and it is used every day, often multiple pots per day (5 adults at home). I am very pleased with my machine. I think the home brewer pulls less power, but it probably still adds a few bucks/month of electricity.

Well I think that was water in that change you can see the washer at the bottom of the pan. if it was oil you wouldn't be able to see it. Motors bulletproof🤔

I have the same issue, I'm not sure what it is and mines is heavy use for work, I thought they didnt want us replacing the transmission fluid? I've never changed it nor know of anywhere to get the transmission fluid from.😮 Did you end up making it go faster?
