I just had to buy a new television because my Ruairi knocked my 10 month old tv off the bookcase. Oh well. Accidents happen. Love your collections. Your kittens all go together in the sense that they are all kittens. I have tons as well. Shadow box is incredible. Wow, what a find. I received a clock like your pink and red one as a gift, except mine was in wood tones. Being the ocd cleaner that I was, I took it apart to clean and I could never get it back together. I was so upset. I loved it. I have so many of the same glass pieces, ie, the stretch glass. I can’t display but a fraction of them.

I absolutely love that shade of yellow on your walls, it's very similar to the yellow in my kitchen. For some reason, people have bought into this idea that gray is the only neutral shade out there and I find the whole gray/black/white combo depressing. The soft yellow that you've chosen presents the wood furniture and all the colorful accessories in your living room just beautifully without being overwhelming.

I have a passion for all linens! I’ve been blessed with many from when my great-grandparents came here from Germany. (I’m 63 yrs old, so those linens are very old). Once, at a vintage shop, I was looking through the table cloths. The owner asked me what size I needed. I told her size never matters- if I love it, I make it work. LOL. I also love bowls and platters, tiny little trays (?). I’m not sure what the tiny porcelain/China trays (?) are intended to be.

My mom watches, she was born 1954, she had two older sisters 20yrs older than her and 18 yrs older. Plus my Grandmother who was born 1918. So all the things you displayed, and even the big pink chair, there’s was green. Brings back so many memories. She said it was great time to be a kid. We have a lot of things from that time. Laci, I love your videos. Lovely decorating with the kitties! The stereo cabinet was such a treasured purchase made by my folks in the late 50’s!! It had a brand new smell that I’ll never forget! My job was to dust it with PLEDGE every Saturday afternoon! I wish I still had Mom’s blond oak furniture! I have a sweet crystal candy dish from my grandma that I keep filled with chocolates. My father smoked so I still have a beautiful black enamel with gold trimmed border of gold wheat made in Japan in my china cabinet. I have a first edition of Life magazine from the week I was born June 7, 1952! Lots of love from a Baby Boomer with wonderful memories, Miss Vickie

I love how symmetric you made everything. I especially love your kitties --real and fake! When I lay down books on a shelf, I put them largest on the bottom to smallest on the top. Not criticizing you! Just a tip. I think it makes a neater look. I collect a few kitties myself, as well as vintage birds, vintage linens and dishes. I love the chunky old American made pottery pieces like the ones made by Shawnee and McCoy. The colors are so soft and pretty and being so chunky they're not easy to break! I'm so glad I found your channel and am enjoying catching up on your older videos. You're awesome!

I love collecting vintage plates, bowls, casserole dishes. ETc. I also like kitchenalia and kitschy sort of things and vintage tablecloths. (Does anyone else think that older tablecloths from the 90's and earlier just seem to wash better? I hate my newer linen table clothes because they just wash up horribly. The vintage ones I barely even have to iron.) My family thinks I have too much. LOL I bring it out at different times of the year. My dining area I refresh every 2 weeks or so because I get tired of everything quickly. Putting up the old and bringing out the "new" batch that was in storage always gives me a special sort of feeling. I think it's an addiction.

At the moment, my collections are mostly Bohemia crystal with the pinwheel pattern, and the old Corningware with the blue cornflowers. They're pretty inexpensive and common so it makes me feel happy to be able to find them in the thrift shop in my small town.

I like to collect Southern Living Year books and Christmas books and cook books. The magazine was established sometime in the 60's and the yearbooks sometime in the 70s. The oldest one I have is 1979. I would love to have every year book that was published.
