I loved this game! Despite my fear of the solo survival horror experience, having a damage sponge with me gave me peace of mind. I miss the experimental game mechanics of the PS2 era. I also don’t know where my copy went; maybe college. 😂

This game is really good but should have some books to tie in maybe like a field guide or character cyclopedia

My dad handed down a Nintendo gameboy, one of my favorite consoles growing up. His only interest in it was resident evil 4, even though he had many other good games like wario world, Mario kart, Luigi’s mansion…he just liked zombie shooter games. I recently was helping go through my grandparents attic and found a ps1 resident evil 3 nemesis disc

1:18:40 After Silence of the Lamb, I really, REALLY appreciate that the devs placed Thomas alongside the other women. Thomas was a closeted transwoman, and the fact the devs respected her identity means so much

Something that really bugged me about the co-op is that I’m not a total loner, but I still couldn’t play the co-op. Local co-op isn’t available so your friend also needs to buy a copy of Dead Space 3 and also probably both of you need to shell out for EA’s online service or some dumb shit. It’s a pretty big barrier to actually playing the game as intended.

I'm a student of the occult , an occultist . It's purely academic and non-practising. It is one hundred percent objective and separate from my personal spiritual interests which are one hundred percent subjective.. now it always strikes me as lazy and fairly ridiculous that psychics, mediums , and psychic mediums (fxcksake) NEVER display any real knowledge of their supposed gifts or wisdom gleaned from their supposed talents , In summary then . . . . Pointey-fxcking-dointey ❤ 😇

One thing with the curveball of the side quest guy being dead the whole time, The marker signal speeds up decomposition. He might've died hours or maybe minutes before depending on how bad the marker was effecting him

Funnily enough I would say that In a really messed up way silent hill would be the way to come to terms with genuine issues especially the really messed up ones then if they survive and leave they’ll either become a better person or learn from what they did along with never wanting to go back silent hill messed up therapy open for all

I found the ending revelation lackluster. The game was so much fun, but the "it was in your head all along" or rather "the badguy was you all along" was done to bits and such a disappointment. Given how fungi reacted to the agent, I was hoping he was at least something akin to the reagent taken shape and gaining consciousness through how it works, sort of like that parasitic mushroom that turns ants zombies. If not something more original.

Tbh in the original first one, kinda like the silence if your character, for me it feels more like you rather than a game character y'know?

Why did the doctor want the codex so badly? Was he juat simply stupid and thought turning off the machine would help? Did he somehow know that the machine need configuring to kill the moon? Or was he doing it straight from maliciousness brought by the markers cries, in other words the docter knew the codex could kill the moon, but would intentionally just use it to turn off the moon killer?
