Can I use my own batteries or do I need to use the EG4 batteries? That is, does the 12kPV need comms with the batteries, or can I just tell it I'm using LiFePO4 and it works?

I use mine to run my nebulizer when out on my sxs in wv riding. It has allowed me to get back out there. Bluetti is my go to ,& love it.

Uggg. So is this new system compatible with the system I bought 2.5 years ago (Dec 2021)? My installer was Lumio. 30 panels (Canadian Solar HiDM5 All black CS1Y-395M) with IQ7PLUS-72-2-US microinverters, Encharge 10-1P-10A battery and the magic boxes that go along with it. One of the things I hope you fixed are the shoddy cases for the equipment. I have complained to Lumio several times but I still can't open my controller. Bottom line: 1. How many boxes do I need to replace to use the new battery? 2. Is Enphase planning on building a version that holds up to 4 batteries? I was planning to add three 5P's to my existing Encharge 10-1P-10A battery. You should be able to do all the connection in one piece of equipment. Much cleaner (look at LOT better) and less labor ($$$$) to install. 3. Do i have to replace all my 30 IQ7 microinverters to IQ8s? 4. Are Enphase and Span improving their interface to provide consistent information to the application without recalibration? Thank you.

Does this unit automatically switch to grid power when battery voltage drops below minimum input voltage?

One question, just how is a battery replaced if it has a problem? It seems that everything has to be disconnected and disassembled from the top down.

Does the EG4 Mini Split sit level, are is it lower on on side? I used there bracket that has a level on it and backed it up with 2ft. level they both are dead on. But unit is a 1/4 in. lower on one side. is this for some sort of drain? I'm talking about the outside unit!

Silly me Questions1: I have the Growatt MIN7600TL-XH-US inverter installed. Will this battery work and communicate with it? Question 2: Can i run 2 of these batteries in parallel on the same inverter?

I suggest you send out a few to youtubers to get a more indept review and a better look at this inverter i have a growatt 6kw it's realy noisie and it's not stackable

Just bought the EG4 6000 XP inverter and battery combo. Works well with one exception, it will not run my EcoSmart ECO 27 tankless water heater. It also has problems running my new Samsung clothes dryer when anything else is running.

Bought a house with 3 x 5kw growatt system that was about 2 years old. 1 inverter kept faulting and something popped after I switched everything off and back on again, and that was about two weeks after moving in. Another one popped about a year later, fortunately just before I replaced the popped one. I replaced them all with a 16kw Sunsynk. Will never use growatt again. Also, the support here in South Africa is very poor.

I have an Enphase system and has been rock solid. Two 5P and 16 410W Silfab panels for about a ~6.6kw system. What was purchased a few months is probably out dated. Those that might be on the fence just do your homework. Couple of things…. Depends if where it’s manufactured maters. Enphase is made in the U.S.A. so you’re helping American workers. So yeah….might be a little bit more expensive. At the times Tesla ghosted me in middle of process so when with local California roofer and solar installers. So would have gotten power wall 2 an older platform where Enphase compared to 5P was just better overall. Regardless, going solar is awesome. Free energy

Is that 10k shared between 120 phases 5k/5k, or is the full 10k available on each like in the EG4 18K? Up to the max 10 total of course, I'm not asking if it can do 20k.

So, there are no built-in in breakers like the EG4 inverters.... So much easier to install and less clutter.

I will say this... I've had a growatt 24v system for years now and it hasn't skipped a beat. But.... they need to do a better job with the wiring box and terminals.
