I have to say. If this plugin is good at drawing the drumms forward.. in that same aspect it ia actually pushing the lyrics backwards.

You are more than a good fellow!! Grateful grateful grateful! Sorry to those who bought it 2 weeks ago. I also didn’t think there’d be a discount as it is a niche plugin, it could have gone either way so I never underestimate Black Friday. The problem with the diaphragmal absorbers - you have to use just one on each side of the wall or have them spaced long side size apart. These don’t have accumulation effect if you use them next to each other. So that is why you have so crappy i’d say measurements + get everything covered with OC 705 having it 8 inch deep and you’ll be surprised how good it is. Thanks to John H Brand and Ron Sauro for the tests John payed for.

I've never went out of my way to comment something like this before but I feel like all the price change timings for the Unfairchild plugin really haven't been the greatest. It's tough to see something discounted so frequently and greatly right after I purchased it. I honestly didn't think another price discount was in the cards but here it is.

Just so it is known, FG-MU was a hybrid approach. It was a mix of a Fairchild 670 and Manley Vari-Mu, with Slate's own take at the time. This explains its unique sonic signature which leans more on bite and bright.

Not surprised in the least! Very stoked. But as a “The Background” voter I’d still love to see that one. Not that SCL isn’t a great tune, but I think it’s been covered a lot over the years and there’s less mystery behind it by now. Doesn’t mean I won’t be glued to the TV, but I’d super appreciate a second song 😀
