My granddaughter Zoey 9 year old home school and she's in special Ed class but the still have her doing regular 4rd grade work but we just found out that she's a visual learner so work that's online is difficult for her so how can we help her if it's online work plus her reading is behind but she's good a math

Hi, can you tell me more about why she’s in a special ed class? Has she been diagnosed with any learning disabilities, mental or physical disabilities? I might be able to give some more guidance if I know what types of challenges she has.

I’m a visual leaner and unfortunately had a terrible time at school and I felt stupid but only realised I was a visual learner after I dropped out of school. Thank you for the tips as this will help me in my Greek classes and Astrology 🙏🏻 May you be blessed with all Gods miracles ❤️

Thanks so much for sharing. You’re not alone. Many people only figure out how they learn best as they get older through trial and error. Those classes you’re taking sound super interesting. Best of luck to you!

Nice video! Actually, I'd argue 1:50 isn't entirely accurate - school is full of noise, other conversations going on, distractions, and unfocused kids. This is hell on the auditory learner! they can't learn as well from whiteboards or powerpoints, which is when the other kids or even the teacher is quiet, so their auditory input is constantly frazzled and overwhelmed

Ok now that is 5:31 a 😮WOW i was thinking you’d understand how chatgbt works but if you say you didn’t think it was going to beat you, clearly you don’t really know how it works really. (No offence) Besides, An IQ test (Intelligence Quotient) is used to measure a person’s cognitive abilities and Logical reasoning,Solving puzzles or identifying patterns. Mathematical ability Solving problems involving numbers, Verbal skills,Spatial reasoning. In other words it is for people that have a brain. Chatgbt it’s an algorithm, a computer program and does not have a brain but just numbers zeros and ones with an ability to read and analyse data from the input of people that have stored in its memory. So a super fast computer which can access the entire web in a fraction of a millisecond. So has no logic, no sense, no reasoning or anything like a living human has… “Although it has beaten you and you proved that yourself 😅😅 (joking)” PS: no offence intended but I am trying to make a point to people who think that chatgbt is smart. Is not. Is just a machine that has all the tools at disposal to use the right tool for the right job. The job is all the questions or tasks that we ask from it and the tool is the answers or results we get from it… Great video by the way 👏

Do you recommend listening to music while doing hw?
@SharpCookie24 күн бұрын
I’d say experiment with it. You might notice that certain types of hw you can listen to music and other types of hw where you need to be super focused, it might not work as well. For me, the less I need to focus and think, the more I can listen to music. Also try different types of music. You may find that lyrics are too distracting for example. If I’m studying for a test and really trying to memorize things, listening to music is too distracting. But if I need to write a paper, sometimes music helps me get in the flow of writing and write for longer periods of time.

2:12 No way!!!! I’ve always closed my eyes to spell words because I can see the word spelt in head where I am just “reading” off the letters! Same with math because I am seeing the written equation in my head as I do the math. I also can see long strings of written numbers if I commit it to memory. My favorite party trick is memorizing peoples bank cards in less than a minute and reciting back their card number, exp, and security code. I take in the information and can see it in my mind as if it’s a picture (I only remember as long as I commit it to working memory 😂). My conscience is too strong to do anything bad with the card numbers but it’s fun to scare the people who have the bravery to doubt me 🤣

a good question for auditory learners, it might help my research - do you visualize things while hearing or its just blank slate or you just focus on audio and let pictures flow?

according to my experience i also concluded that, we are combination of all types of learning but we like to get more exposed to certain type as our growth saw potential strength in that area.

I have an auditory processing disorder. Its like im brain fogged 24/7. I have to repeat it in my mind to comprehend it then by the time i respond everyone else is moved on past the topic also names are like numbers to me i can never remember previous conversations or names till i use them repeatedly. Yet i am normal or exceed at everything else. My whole life its held me back. It sucks. Caffeine helps but it's the same as counting. I gotta recount things over and over cuz i keep forgetting on complex counts. Yet i can repeat back up to 14 digits like a genius. Its crazy ive lost promotions and friends and dropped out of classes over it

For most things, if you get appropriate help and intervention, it can be improved with targeted learning therapies. There’s a lot of centers that will even do free tests and evaluations. Wishing you the best.

Hi. I am a kinesthetic adult learner who plays and learns chess. Do you have any tips, please?
@SharpCookie2 ай бұрын
That’s great! I’ve also been into chess the past three years. For kinesthetic learners, I recommend playing as much as possible with a physical board. They even make smart boards where you can play people on chess.com with your physical board, and it’ll light up their moves for you. Also when you’re studying on your own, I recommend creating the position you’re analyzing on a physical board and playing out the moves. The other recommendation I have is allowing yourself to move while you play games. So that could be just playing games standing up or fiddling with a fidget toy while you play or placing your feet on a balance board, or allowing yourself to pace a little bit while your opponent is thinking, etc.

I have ADHD but my auditory memory is very good, however I can't read books in silence or out loud for dear life, because my inner voice would change the subject of talking in a matter of seconds. I recently discovered that listening to audio books while following the text with my own eyes makes reading possible for me and I also remember most of the content of what I "read" (listen to). The visual and spatial memory is however extremely bad. I can get lost two streets away from home without a GPS.

Checked all the boxes. The name tags is 100% on point. U can tell me ur name multiple times and i wont remember it. Byu if i see it written on a paper or tag at least 1 time... that image is saved in my head forever, and i can easily remember ur name because theres an image of it stored in my head.
