There's no waste rock (not tailings, those come from a mill, mines will have what's called a mine dump which is full of waste rock) because this is a stope, which means the portal is elsewhere and they mined upwards till they hit the surface.

Set your cameras up by zooming in as far as possible. Move the camera to manual focus. And zoom manually. You'll stay in focus 100% of the time.

For those of you who don't know the Sonoran desart, the cactus is brought in by pack rats. They use the cactus as a defensive measure to keep predators out. The only predator that the cactus doesn't keep out are snakes. 😂

There is probably hidden treasure behind all of the cactus.

Everyone is always so scared of bats? They are extremely great flyers especially seeing as most are blind and they won't do anything to you unless maybe if they are rabbid!!!! They fly through mines and caves with absolutely no light so I really doubt that they will run into someone!!!!
@Glenn-em3hv Жыл бұрын
Those miners in the past were a different breed of men and did some incredible hard work!!!

The bats fly around in mines with no lights whatsoever and they are great flyers so I don't believe that you have anything to worry about except for maybe a bat with rabbies!!!

You should get some heavy duty shoes and something to protect your legs and see what's in that mine!!! It's like someone planted all those to keep people out???

How fascinating. Do you ever bring a metal detector in to see if there's remnants of metals? Or not because the area has been picked dry?

1. You are not holding the brake line on that device. Very dangerous. 2. You are sliding down the wall. Straighten out your body, walk down the wall. 3. That is not an adit, it is a drift. I’m not picking on you, please work with someone who has experience and learn.

Lot of people just drop their cameras down the side.If they had a PVC pipe and put a strong line through the middle.they could extend their camera out to the middle then lower it down by laying the pipe down on the ground and weigh it down over the middle of the shaft.

The ears were damaged. Just before it turn’s right and disappears. It starts to duck it’s head, the left ear drops down to the left while the right stays straight up.

Some nice mineralization in this mine quite a hike up there. Please grab a sample of those crystals and show us. Most snake bites are when climbing up might want to use a cane and tap it around above you.

Thanks so much for the excellent content. We were up there hiking at the Hemet Bell today but didn't realize there was a much more extensive mine site further on the trail (Gold Shot Mine.) So to find it we should have just continued on the same switchback trail that passes the entrance to the Hemet Bell? Approx how far past Hemet Bell is the Gold Shot site? Thanks again and keep up the great uploads.

Average at 30 to 40 $ each , excepting the cc denotetation , those are sky limit. We’re you detecting the town site?
