You’re such a cool person- so I’m glad you got to see the side of Japan I also enjoyed. We saw the Snow Monkies in NOV of ‘23. We agreed that our favorite parts of our trip was when we WERENT in Tokyo or Osaka. I could totally see you loving Koya-San and Nagano. Glad you stayed at the Snow Monkey Onsen! They need more business. Staying there overnight was neat! I agree that the food starts to all taste the same after a while. We wanted veggies SO BAD. But we heard that restaurants don’t sell healthy food because cooking food at home is supposed to be healthy, while going out is seen as a luxury and a time to eat lots of fried stuff and meat and carbs.

I love how Rocky is totally relaxed when you use him to gesticulate. I wonder if he has some Rag doll Siamese in him. Also, kudos to you on continuing to talk normally while he was trying to play with your hands and shirt. I'm glad you you went to Japan with everyone and had a good time. I also think being in nature and around animals is superior to cities so it is good to know you were able to experience things like that. The deer looked awesome. I went to an animal sanctuary in Hawaii once and had a female Axis deer follow me around almost the whole time. I don't know why she did but it made me feel pretty dang special. It is nice to get away sometimes and even nicer to return home.
