Im familiar with mac but i dont buy mac not even second hand. I use Notebook where I can substitute the SSD when I want to! im curious because you wrote not for the rich dudes. I m more worried about the data that is lost when your integrated ssd dies. for me that is a disaster. why the hell do they integrate ssds in the first place of course to make more money selling more macbooks. you have to be dumb to buy such a macbook not rich. because even if you are rich and you lose your data that sucks!

Hey I have always seen the 61280 die from dust sucked in to the side vent, right where the ic sits. The dust will trap moisture (especially if you are in a humid place) and short the 2v5 directly to ppbus.

Is this the same computer that sends too much current or voltage through the NANDs when a certain other chip fails? I never would have had that happen on a PC. Only Apple would make charging the battery reliant on the NANDs for some trivial reason.
