This is so helpful! I’ve been trying to find a good size hoop to do off body leg work tricks, so finding one the width of my arm will probably be my best bet
@penelopenukem2 жыл бұрын
You definitely need lightweight, large hoops for any off body/ circus style tricks

I am five feet three what size hoop should I use
@penelopenukem3 жыл бұрын
Strongly suggest you measure from the floor to your hips. That will give the best diameter for a beginner hoop.

This is so exciting! Day 2 looked great! That exercise will develop your muscles so quickly! Have you tried doing the in-out backwards? The plow stop and the T stop are important lessons, as is learning (and practicing) falling correctly. In derby, we discovered that only skating and practicing in one direction (ie clockwise) will develop certain muscles disproportionately and will lead to injuries (and also to having one thigh for differently into clothing bc it's muscles are larger 🤣). Please consider this when you get to the point where you are out there regularly. :D Your courage is inspiring; it's been quite some time since I've branched out of my comfort zone, and watching you be brave is inspiring me to dream a bit bigger. :) Congrats!!!

It's so tricky. I don't think it's a beginner move to be honest. I'm still refining it like 10 years later ahaha

Great explanations of the hoop sizes and all in a quick video. My question is I'm pretty short, only 5 feet and my belly button reaches about 35.5 inches from ground so would the medium sized hoop you showed be fine for me or should I still get a bigger 40 inch hoop size? For other reference I have longer arms than I do legs.
@penelopenukem3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kristin, apologies for the late response. I strongly suggest you measure from the floor to your hips to give you the best size for a beginner hoop. You can opt for a larger hoop, but you may grow out of this very quickly. I'd stick to following the measurement guide as it'll give your hoop more longevity as you start your journey into hoop dance.

Hi, how much is its spf? Does it adapt the skin tone later on?can it be use by a little bit tanned skin tone?
@penelopenukem7 жыл бұрын
Mavic Jumola no spf as far as I'm aware. The tone is quite pale and although it blends it won't adapt to your skin tone. I suggest you mix it with your foundation or a darker shade to get it to match.

u always use a setting spray and translucent powder is to set ur under eye and or ur makeup. a setting spray is Ur last step so ur makeup stays all day.
@penelopenukem7 жыл бұрын
Twitchey1 are you asking me or telling me? I'm not sure what's prompted this comment. I don't always use a spray but I almost always use a powder

Penelope Nuk'em I was just letting u know...not all foundations need to be set with powder...
@penelopenukem7 жыл бұрын
Twitchey1 I use it to stop my mascara smudging under my eyes and creases from foundation and I find that setting it makes it last longer and leaves a nice finish. I like to use it. its a review video. I'm not sure why youre commenting about this???

Is a table spoon the same as a dessert one and would vosine shampoo work - does it work on permanent hair colour?
@penelopenukem9 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the horrendously late reply, a dessert spoon is a size smaller. Its what you'd use to eat with (that isn't a tea spoon) as opposed to a table spoon which you would use to serve food. I don't know what Vosine shampoo is. It doesn't matter about the brand, as long as it is anti dandruff, its the key ingredient in that will help to remove the colour. Head and Shoulders seems to be the most effective but you could use any cheaper alternative.

Dude, baking soda and bicarbonate of soda. Are the same thing.
@penelopenukem10 жыл бұрын
sorry, i meant to say baking soda + cream of tar tar created baking powder. I did the video in one take and it was the first time i'd tried it. I had a lot of ingredients. sorry if there was any confusion :) Also, in the details the ingredients are listed and I have noted that bicarb of soda and baking soda are the same thing.
