Anyone else has a problem in actually keep updating these kind of productivity apps? Like my brain gets bored or overwhelmed after a while

It seems like a lot of people liked the video and were excited about the suggestions you made, especially xTiles. I definitely agree with them, your recommendations are the best.

Oh my icarus. Literally jaw on the floor, mind blown by xtile. I have been banging my head against the notion brick wall way too many times and getting way too frustrated with it, but xtile clearly was built with classic bullet journaling in mind. Thank you so so much for bringing this to my attention!

mIb is a better software compared to xfiles.

I searched for many productivity apps online, such as notion, but I always immediately deleted them due to them being too overwhelming and confusing for me- After seeing this, makes me actually want to try them out, especially Xtiles! see now this is GENUINELY better than notion coz notion is such an overwhelming mindfuck for someone whose attention span is less than that of a hummingbird so xTiles is a great alternative for me wonderful recommendation. Thank you!

I've been using Xtiles for 5 months now after learning abt it on instagram and i can swear by it that it has increased my productivity by a lot!! i kind of treat it like Canvas since i recently graduated and i always liked receiving notification on what assignments were due (WHICH XTILES HAS AS A FEATURE ON THE PHONE!!) literally i've been bragging abt Xtiles to my friends and on my youtube channel since discovering it <3 it has also prevented me from major burnout as a creative💗

omg the xtiles calender feature seems like exactly what I want, a streamlined calender without thinking about it too hard. I still use my bujo and probably will use notion but I'm willing to give it a try. Maybe akiflow too. I haven't heard of any of these apps but this is the first type of these videos that I watched fully.

Lovely video~ I wonder if there is anything similar to Akiflow or Sunsama (which I saw in the comments) but without the API integration piece? I love the calendar + task management interface. I can't get into Google's Tasks and Reminders. I just *hate* them for some reason.

First time viewer, instant subscriber, love your video style and clear outline of features and pros/cons. You did convince me to try Xtiles, and maybe even give AkiFlow a real try - the cost made me nope on it when I first looked, but I just started a job that uses Basecamp, Monday, and Outlook for their distributed teamwork, along with a few proprietary databases like Andar (it’s a nonprofit federation). Meanwhile, I use mainly a notebook (bujo a la Simie Iriarte ), Notion, and google for my own side hustles, hobbies, and social lives…and I’ve been beating my head about finding a calendar app that will let me both show and edit calendars and to-dos for all those platforms. I hadn’t heard the term “information fragmentation” before, but it’s the perfect description of my anxieties about trying not to lose track of things. One quick question: I loved arc, but my MacBook Air would run out of system memory too often when I had my different spaces set up. Admittedly I maybe went overboard (5 spaces, each with about 8-10 pinned tabs) but I’m wondering if you had that issue, and if raindrop.io was the solution? Couldn’t tell what kind of WORK laptop you had there, but it definitely looks bigger than my little Air. Thanks much for the video, can’t wait to look at the rest of the channel, and happy to be your most recent fan.

It's not even a Notion specific Calendar in reality... it's just a Google Calendar skin with some Notion Workspace features. However, if you're an Apple ecosystem iCloud person, you can't even DOWNLOAD it. When logged into Notion, when I try to go to the Calendar, I'm forced to log into Google instead of staying within my Notion account. I've been burned by Google killing things I use so often that I would never lean on Google for something as vital as my calendar, but that's the only option here.

Hey Wesley, didn't know you had ADHD. I was diagnosed recently and I also had purchased your Notion template AND even used it for awhile. But you're right it gets overwhelming very fast for ADHD brains so I abandoned it as it seems too complicated. You mentioned how you try to keep your Notion clean. I would LOVE to see a video of how you use it nowadays. Thanks for all the awesome content! 💗

thanks for the video! I had never heard of xTiles and now I'm tempted to go down that rabbit hole lol. oh and if you're having issues with your routine app may I suggest trying RoutineFlow, it's pretty similar and works like a charm

I use Sunsama, but have been toying with the idea of using Akiflow in place of Sunsama. I trialed Akiflow, but that was a number of years ago and no doubt it has changed since that time. Obviously you use Akiflow. Have you tried Sunsama and if so, can you elaborate on the differences?

i started using arc last month..but it sometime has a loading problem...so i come back to chrome...do you have that loading issue?

xTiles looks like the perfect app to manage multiple projects at a time (Im that type of neurospicy lol) I will give it a try!!! actually all the apps here are perfect picks, great job!! subscribed. Pd: Sadly I have windows 10 and Arc only supports windows 11 😭I dont want to update because theres still things that microsoft have to figure out for windows 11, oh well

Omg THANK YOU so much for these recommendations! I’m so overwhelmed from chrome interface, from notion list of functions, from the visuals in google calendar and I just feel only stressed when I go to it. Arc is awesome browser, I definitely try other apps for sure!

I just want to say thank you for this video. The Arc and Raindrop combo might be just what I am looking for - I was trying to create a knowledge hub in Notion and it just isn't resonating right with me- and I keep really wanting to love Notion and make it work for me, but nothing seems to be resonting!

That boost feature is very alluring to me... It's super useful for me to visually distinguish different types of information for different purposes, the more novel the difference the better, almost like the digital equivalent of having different bedrooms for different settings. So, being able to set and have different colors and especially font feels really cool for something like web tabs. Thanks for the suggestions!

Thank your for your video, it’s my first time here and I find it very smooth and engaging to watch 👍. Regarding Notion, as I’m a intensive user, I can share a workaround regarding the missing collection feature: I use synced blocks or synced database views to access a single content in different pages. This enables to create collections in a very versatile way, IMO. As Notion works for me, I do understand the overwhelming feeling, so if it’s really what bothers you xTiles seems a great alternative!
