I am no longer "scared" of butter. I listened to a women's health expert the other day, and she puts butter on 3 meals a day, mostly steak, and said women need to eat more fat. It also is what helps prevent Alzheimer's. The brain is fat people. Heart attacks they say now, come from inflammation in the body, usually caused by the solvent high heat processing of seed oils. Butter also has K2 which helps vitamin D3 absorb.

Re: saturated fat comment. Jenny is correct. Saturated fat Causes Inflammation which in turn is responsible for heart disease including high cholesterol and blood pressure.

I saw a Ukrainian girl first cooking the whole cabage, cut it in half and then cut out the core. It seemed easier to do. The rest was basically the same and only the "sauce" was based on tomato paste, but I guess every family has it's own recipe.

I tried these a week ago, they were wonderful! Thanks for another great recipe. Making them again this evening, my wife said I can make these anytime! Only thing I did differently was I fried them in bacon fat. Turned out wonderful, delicious.

It is a cold rainy day here in New Mexico and 1 day before the 2024 election and I needed to do something productive. I ran across your You Tube channel and saw this bread video. I made these today they turned out big and perfect. I had to add extra flour, only had fat free milk added a little heavy whipping cream. Baked them 20 minutes. Best recipe ever my go to for now on. My husband ate 2 after they had cooled.
