@HeyThor can we talk about how everyone thinks Yoda saying that Luke is the Last Jedi is gospel. Yoda doesn't know every single Jedi and there may be others out there. Not to mention if we are using Legends continuity Yoda lived on a Force Nexus and wouldn't be able to sense other Jedi. I know Rebels contradicts this bc he speaks with Ezra but perhaps the temple on Lothal acted like an amplifieer. Also the only Jedi post ROTS that Yoda would KNOW FOR CERTAIN being alive would be Obi-Wan, Luke and Leia so it makes sense that YODA thinks that Luke is the Last Jedi but that doesn't mean there can't be other Jedi out there that HE doesn't know about. Not to mention there were 10,000 Jedi and even after order 66 and the Purge I find it difficult to believe that all the Jedi were exterminated. Would love to hear ur opinion !

They’ve done the writing equivalent of painting themselves into a corner,they killed all the Skywalker’s and gave a Palpatine their name-undoing all the storyline of the much loved.OT to try and launch a boring,unlikeable Mary Sue that’s been widely rejected-there’s nothing to look forward to in the Disney timeline-only them selling the brand,they’re completely incompetent.

It baffles me that any franchise would not celebrate and honor a fiercely loyal fanbase. The love expressed in Star Trek Unification is tangible and deeply moving.

Being part of a shared universe is great but tpu also habe to amke your own story a complete story, hated the ending of Ashoka beacuse it did not finish its story.

This is exactly why so many OT fans dont like the prequels. They dont align with the OT, they feel like two different stories wirh no connection except names and that we aee told they connect. If the prequels changed the names we would never habe thought they connected to the OT.

@Thor - I am curious, do you think they could stretch out a PG13 or dare I say an R rated version of Dark Disciple novel into a show? As a fan of the Clone Wars, this book was the first one I have ever read and this is coming from someone old enough to watch a New Hope in the theaters. Just never got that involved with the EU but something about Ventress arc seemed interesting to me and always thought this would be something I would have like to see. Even watching the arc from the drafts of the missing season of Clone Wars, seemed like a missed opportunity, unfortunately, not sure how you reconcile the retcon in the Bad Batch

Thor is seriously doing a lot of gaslighting in these video. The cclone wars show completely contradicts a lot with the pequels established., Darth Maul death, count dooku fall to the dark side. Anakin having padwan. Dave Fiona toy waifu. NightSisters. The clone acting like Individual instead of breed for war clones. If i didn't know they were clone troopers, I would swear they are stromtroopers. Don't even get me let's not even talk about the infamous. Brain cancer order 66 chips. Anyone who tries to defend the cancer, immediately contradict themselves. If the chips was to effort order 66, why just order 66 and not entire their personality to follow orders? I can tell you the real reason. It's because the show writers can have an easy escape. So the goody clones have a poor reason to turn evil at the moment's notice instead of taking some complexity of soldiers following unjustified Orders. Look at you Sheev hypocrite talks. The clone war show isn't good. The show aged poorly over time compared to the prequels. Only reason it look kindly is because Disney canon is garbage. That and the shows jerk off the prequels hater who don't pay attention. There a difference between criticism vs not paying attention.

Rey will forever be tainted and blamed, right or wrong, for what happened to Luke. The perception for so many is Luke was sacrificed from a narrative perspective in favor of her. Star Wars is broken and has been since TLJ. There's nothing Daisy Ridley or Kathleen Kennedy or frankly anyone can do about it without undoing what was done to Luke Skywalker.

I'm really looking forward to Andor S2. Beyond that, well Visions has been uneven with some good and some not-so-good episodes. The Mandalorian and Grogu will depend on whether it is more like the first two seasons of The Mandalorian or Mandalorian S3. I'm pretty meh about everything else unless they manage to salvage Ahsoka. I won't be going to see movies featuring Rey.

Kathleen Kennedy has proven herself to be THEE worst executive for Star Wars. The sequel trilogy should have just been pulled straight from Heir to the empire. Which in some ways it was but just done miserably. I feel bad for Daisy Ridley and all the actors from the sequel trilogy who in the first film had so much potential to be great and got completely misused

Hey Thor, I got into a conversation with someone earlier on; we were talking about how there aren't original stories anymore. In my opinion there aren't any stories that have never been told before. There's no story unheard, no matter if it's in a movie, novel, TV show, comic, etc only stories told in different ways. I'm wondering what your opinion would be: are there stories that are 100% never told before or is everything just stories that have always been told just in their own way? What's considered "original"?

It’s genuinely WILD that Disney has both given us the low of the sequel trilogy and the high of Rogue One and Andor. The latter are truly some of the best Star Wars ever.

Sadly it's just a fan film, actual Paramount produced Star Trek is still awful and void of anything that made startrek what it's supposed to be. Heck they've even 'adjusted' their recent productions when the writers made it too 'startrek-y'.

Without change in leadership, I cannot find any excitement in me for what Disney does with any franchise.

Hey Thor, do you think Republic/Imperial Commando would make a good Disney+ series or movie trilogy or something, and do you think Karen Traviss should come back and helm it?

Hey thor what do you think of the idea that they move 100+ years into the future where grogu has started a new jedi order (he would have to be able to speak of course) but with this new order he now has a couple generations of new jedi (we'll say somewhere in the 30-60 range maybe) at some point though a group of students leave, get expelled something along those lines and that group goes onto form a new dark order. Obviously one of those students would of had to have great potential and they would become the leader. This group starts to grow in power similar to how maul did in later clone war seasons. I feel like this would be a great way to get away from the current time area they seem to be stuck in and without going backwards either. Grogu is obviously a very popular character and you could potentially have someones descendents be students in the order. (Not a necessity but disney loves nostalgia and all) i feel like this could give them a fresh start with a whole group of darkside users to be the big bads sort of speak, while simultaneously having a new group of jedi both young and experienced having already been through a few generations of training already by grogu. I dont know, maybe its something many people have suggested but i at least have never heard anything like this outside of just saying they could move forward. I just think Grogu is a perfect bridge for this with his long life span.

Don't count on Cal coming back in any form of live action series or movie made by Disney, because 1) It would make too much sense, even though he's not part of "the plan" and 2) I'd like to believe that he will get his proper send off/retirement in the next game and just galloped into the horizon, like how Luke was supposed to do initially in ep 6.

dumb move to do "dawn" digging too deep into mythos just drains the magic out
