In the Allegan State Game Area Swan Creek North of Swan Creek Pond for some trout and Steelhead. Swank Creek south of the pond for the chance at a nice Brown Trout, it is beautiful but difficult to fish , very heavily wooded with tall, steep banks. Swan creek flows from South to North as a tributary to the Kalamazoo River. Also, Bear Creek in the Allegan SGA is quite interesting. There is a treasure trove of good fishing streams in West Michigan.

My home stream was the dowagiac Creek and the dowagiac River Saint Joe River and the pier the Little Creek that feeds out of our Lake Indian Lake goes right out of the creek all the way into Lake Michigan and we get all the run spawn run salmon a native home trout you do a great job explain your fishing and access. Just came back from Upper peninsula and those beautiful wild rainbows and Brooks what colors. I fished and lived in South West Michigan as a kid and fished the Brooks on uncles farm in Rockford. Getting back in the water this year I'm Michigan was step back in great kid memories walking the creek like you did. I fished my way up the lake Michigan rivers from Ludington to Paradise to Ontanagon with my fiancee and she cried when we left Michigan at state line of Wisconsin because it changed from wild back to domestica. We caught bass Pike splake sucker perch rainbows and hunted the abundant mosquito. You make a great video good camera work and details. I subscribed.

As kids we use to catch a few smallies behind the gravel pit, not too long ago I took a trip wading through heading south and ended up getting yelled at by someone who owned property surrounding the area. Took me by surprise, never had that happen before, just headed back towards the bridge.

I'll have to try crank baits on that lake. I started trolling there late last year with spoons. Nothing yet.
