I have been to Brazil about 7 to 8 times and have visited many, many cites. However, I feel like the young Brazilian don't work at all; during the day they are at the beach and at night partying in the discos or clubs. Wonder how they can maintain themselves without a job.

It depends on which neighbourhood you go. In Rio, people probably stay in the south area (ipanema, Copacabana, Leblon) which has the most expensive square metre in Brazil. A lot of children from the Brazilians that live there provably will just work when they think they should.

Your story is so nice. We that are born from the "new world" carry traditions from Europe and other continents from people that left everything they had and risk their lives for a better future. I hope one day you will be able to go back to Ireland and make those who once migrated to where you were born proud. If you are a foreigner and want to meet men from here, it is interesting to meet Brazilians, but I can already say that everything here is still very backward! There are no sex shops aimed at men here, and there are no leather goods stores or dungeons here. The old stereotype of the "Brazilian dark-skinned man" still reigns supreme, a stereotype created by producer Kristen Bjorn many years ago but which is still perpetuated! What can I say from here: the people are not conservative, THEY ARE ALMOST REACTIONARY COUNTRYMEN, KNOWN AS "JECAS" in the local language!

Sitges is magical in early July, but it is off the hook in early September for Bears Week. I have been staying at the same hotel for years, and think about buying a place there now that we have an insane person elected President. You only got one thing wrong: I think it's 40 minutes on the train, not an hour!

Attention- their idea of sexy is what any other country would consider an emaciated twink (their general ideal... it's a French thing) or a super muscled guy (a foreign idol fpr a millisecond). Not to worry, they will lose their attention span in 90 seconds when a new emaciated twink or super muscled guy walks by. So just when you thought your charm was enough... Conversationalists? Almost universally terrible at it, even in French. Test- ask them how they are doing. You will get a one word answer. Ask again. You'll get 3 words. Don't ask a third time. Cordial? Yes, culturally imposed. Full of themselves? Very often. Summary- Paris is a big city like many others. Parisians are human beings but they have their own culture. Yes, they are cordial but no, not warm. PS As for the Raidd Bar this place is 100% for tourists, Don't go there. It's a haven for pickpockets... so guys PLEASE be careful. Not recommended.
