Had a short drive and was impressed by the interior and the drive. Ford have been very slow to EV market (Mach E aside) but this is positive. Interested to see the Puma EV when that is revealed soon.
@PlanetautoUK2 ай бұрын
Yes, it’s a cut above interior wise than all Fords, and with VWG tech it’s a joy to drive, we’re hoping to get Puma Electric in Jan and Capri before that, thank you Phillip.

Great video, can i ask what charger would you need fitting at your home and whats the average cost,
@PlanetautoUK4 күн бұрын
There’s many solutions we essentially rent one from Egg Cracking Energy and we’re on an ev friendly tariff, the rental is like old tv systems, covered breakdown etc. Also Ford have there own system, charger - tariff etc or you could get one fitted by an electrician etc. Charger £650 upwards then fitting £150 upwards dependant on location compared to metre. Hope this helps Philip and glad to hear you enjoyed our video. Keep me posted and if you need anything else shout.

I'm new to the page and thoroughly enjoyed this video about the Ford Explorer. I'm a Motability customer and currently have the Vauxhall Grandland in the mild-hybrid model. I am looking ahead and have really liked the design of the Ford Explorer model. I'm just very nervous about making the move to full electric. Is there anything you can ay to put my mind at ease please?
@PlanetautoUKАй бұрын
Do you have space at home to have a Type 2 charger installed? If so, you are home and dry. Being able to charge this at home is the key to making this a viable option for you. Bear in mind that you can charge at home on tariffs that only cost around 7p per kWh means it’s vastly more affordable than public chargers. Also, the given range actually holds up, and even goes higher if you are driving in a city environment. Thank you, @SnowAndBeach - glad you enjoyed our review. Come back and let us know what you decide to do.

Hi both, when I watched your review of the Explorer at the dealership I must admit that I wasn’t too impressed with it. However, your superb reviewing skills have changed my mind considerably in this review. I love red cars and I think that this colour is spot-on for the Explorer. I love the full length pan roof but there is no blind fitted! I do not like the 21 inch wheels, too much for my liking. The interior space looks great and the bright light colours make the cabin a nice space to be. It even pssses the drivers grab handle test too. ( A nag of mine too). Looking forward to going to Blackpool with you.👍😎 it
