My prayers have been answered. Thank you Q. Saw the premier of Summer of Soul in Marcus Garvey park with you DJing before and that night I was praying to see Sly's whole set. Really everyone's set in the movie. But Sly the most. This is even better. Beyond psyched!!! 🙏🤎💫

Sly was the e.r. not the e. e.. the master, writer, innovator, and creators. He's been with me since 69, and I still listen to him frequently. Excess is a mother f@#ker!!

Sly, if you're up to it, please make a song about Luigi Mangione. I know you worked with Fishbone about 25 years ago.

READ THIS WHOLE THING: PRAY FOR ISRAEL. PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS AND ROSE AGAIN FROM THE DEAD. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TAKE YOUR PLACE IN HIS HOUSEHOLD? THEN PLEASE REPENT OF ALL YOUR SINS TODAY AND SURRENDER YOUR ENTIRE LIFE TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. NOBODY IS OUT OF THE CANDIDACY FOR BECOMING A CHRISTIAN.

Tell me 'bout it! Winter here in Finland🇫🇮is everything between damp hell and nut freezing hell, but also long and dark barely no🌞at all. I thank my God for two forces of nature to help us everyday people to get through the hard times, Sly&Family Stone and home grown weed🙏 Why it's a crime if it gives me a smile?

Like between 'then' and today? Their message: "We've gotta live together" is still relevant as basic 'Rule number one' for us mankind. Sly rule has a heavy message to live by it seems to me... 'We love all' turned me into Sly'ism. Beat that as a message! At the same time l believe the East-Coast was in totally different music vibes because of racism, that ugly race concious bastard. Sly was like a fresh air into toxic room. That same love is still fresh and available in recordings.
