I just want one of these to go fishing on some dirt trail to get to hidden ponds and stuff like that. Not hitting jumps. Whats a good beginner bike that i can not get passed by a bunch of cars but also dont needs to haul ass. I live in a rural area and not a city so i wont need to lane split or anything like that.

Eride is obviously the best choice for the money.. idk what 79 is using for suspension, but everything else was top-notch. The ONLY reason that Surron is the top for most people is because it has a HUGE aftermarket community already, same with Talria. Once they start making parts for the others, especially Eride.. it will easily be the best bike by far out of any bike by a HUGE margin.

Thanks for this comparison. I have yet to pick an E-bike / E-Moto to replace my current gas powered dirt bike. The 25 mile range is a major concern as I ride trails and have covered 100 miles in an outing. Could you do some trail comparisons? Just as I was thinking Yeah but how do they compare if you make a few mods, the video said that comparison was coming next - excellent!

I’m kinda happy with my SurRon. I better be, I have $7,500+ tied up in it. I’m disappointed in GritShift. They ripped me off on Their TURN SIGNAL/BREAK LIGHT KIT. Doesn’t Work and they won’t return emails. So I’m out $150.00.

I would swap to a smoother throttle traditionally meant to smooth that out, typically sold for scooters. Also, a sine wave controller would help produce more power and smoother throttle input.

Awesome review, I was suprised you said the Stage2 was so slow but I ride a small trail and dont have alot of experience. I dont mind the bar bend so much, but I hated the stock waffle grips. Wish it had padding on the sides where your knee can touch. I wish the RFN did better its my next favorite, cool to see someone ride them all at once

I have a KO and I love it. I have only had the Stock motor and the KO, So my opinion is not that of someone who has rode many aftermarket controllers. With that said, I have mine in a tune that fits my needs and love that I can take more time to fine tune a wheelie mode and more. The ability to make Trail Modes, Park Modes, Eco Modes, Race Modes and more is beyond words and is a Life changing in the Best of ways. I recently met someone whom I consider a friend. they rode my KO and was kinda suprized in the best way. They are a Master at wheelies on there Dirt Bike but could not handle the Tune I had set. This is why I love the Ability to create Modes and think with the Right Tuning He would be wheeling to his hearts content! I also Just Got that Fork, waiting on bearings for it then its ready to rock again! Love this review and glad to hear some honest feedback on the KO and this fork! Its not a Bad Motor or Controller imho, and as far as stock it just puts stock to shame. With that said I love Surron/Segway/etc for allowing us to customize these bikes and give them new life on trails, street etc. So I cant fully hate the Stock Bike but I think anyone who has a stock surron for long enough will be looking to upgrade. Very happy with my setup so far and love the setup you have, Looks awesome!

For the issue of beta explorer with brakes sensor. Probably installing a push button wired to the controller brake sensor wires would work. this way you have bypassed your brakes and by the same time made a safety for ignition

Just go to a beta dealership. I have the same bike and had the same brake problem. They fixed it and i was out riding the next day. I agree the rocket mode is too short. That changes when you get a new controller. It changes to 60 seconds.

How do you compare it to the Storm Bee?

With it being unchanged and the price is increasing is kinda crazy to me. Every photo I see its basically the same bike. Something isn't right to me. Either the sales aren't where it needs to be or they want to keep their profits the same. Maybe they need a new manufacturer

For the price i dont think the Talaria can be beat. Add in a gearbox instead of a belt drive and theres a reason i put my money on an mx3. To be fair i only didnt get the mx4 because it was another month before they were shipping last year and it saved me $500. I'm still very happy with the purchase, especially for the low price!
