For the next games, I think the Egyptian, Mayan, and Japanese Gods should come together, because they fear Kratos. They just see him as a pantheon hunter, so they join forces to hunt him down, before they're next

If Christianity is a part of GOW universe, then that would mean that the gods there would be equal to what we call the Nephilims.

I'm not gonna lie, I did enjoy the over the top violence in GoW 3, but I still think that the first game is the best, because it's the most cohesive in terms of narrative and level design. I've yet to play the Norse games so I'm just talking about the old ones.

It would be so nice if SantaMonica studio make the ultimate God of the Gods as something alien type or something like the Force from Star Wars or Dao from Chinese daoism where Dao/Tao is like the universe rule or energy that all things are came from (including our god’s characters). It would make GOW series like Avengers Endgame type of media. 😂 Also this supernatural God is the one who created Babylon tower where all the people on Earth had lived together and spoke one language. After some catastrophe happened and all of them spread out to different religions and their local gods kingdoms were made.

I think if you look at Mesopotamia, how there are many gods. this will match up to the whole story fountain God of war. Creation myth

You know it will be interesting Christianity, and monotheism all together. Besides that there's no such thing as a god it's just a fancy title. for the human beings who have supernatural powers.

What if the God had war to decide which mythology has fully control over the world and after the gods of Olympus fell the Aesir was in line to control the world and teach their culture to humans also creating the world in there image

GOW6 should have the Egyptian gods as the annunaki who escaped the flood Kratos created & just came back to rebuild human civilization & Odin’s craze for life’s answers started from Thoth.

Ive discovered the answer!!! The creator gods got memos from their investors saying they need to make a new god of war game, and cory was like, but how? He killed all the gods? And some guy said dude have him kill odin! And so they threw a bunch of money at a bunch of game designers and knew the game would sell regardless of if there was a real explanation for how the fuck. The end

Honestly, I know the director has confirmed this to be true. But this is so bs and sounds like an easy excuse to keep the franchise alive, i hate that they just abandoned the old kratos, and us, the audience gets this shitty version where he somehow gets to this mythology by physically traveling

To be fair many of his enemies could have avoided death. If only they were just stood away, and let Kratos go for Zeus directly. He didn't care for the rest. They were died, because they stood in his way.

also aphrodite was a serial cheater. she only married Hephaestus cus she was forced to. she was already shacking up with ares before that, and hermes. im pretty sure lore wise she never actually slept with her own husband.

TBF mythologically speaking....almost every single god of olympus is a horrible piece of shit. zeus and Poseidon were serial rapists. athena cursed one of her priestesses for getting brutally raped by Poseidon on her temples steps. zeus killed anyone who he deemed a threat. hera did horrible things to the women zeus violated not to mention the tragedy of Heracles. nemesis wasnt so lawful in her vengeance against narcissus who turned a guy down cus he wasnt interested and said guy killed himself. hades literally imprisons his own wife he kidnapped.

I think its similar to to our universe, just like how each part of our world follows certain religion , with their own lore and mythology and we all coexist , its just like that in the God of war universe , same as our world , all are from different mythologies but can coexist . Thats my take on this .
@alexandregrand-pierre19817 күн бұрын
I have my own theory based on the Abrahamic religions.There is one supreme God who created the entire earth, all the lesser gods, and created all the territories, giving them a centralized design plan. All the lesser gods are actually angels, demons, and nephilim who were either sent to watch over different parts of the earth and guide the people there, help nurture creation, or who took dominion over different territories, all to be revered and worshipped by the locals as their gods. That would then explain the different creation myths, or similar events in every culture like the Great Floods, and why some gods are more malicious and cruel. A lot of these gods could also just be the same beings who controlled different nearby regions but got mistaken as entirely different beings, like the similarities between the Roman/Greek, and Egyptian Gods.
