SORRY LMAO it was an incoherent rant about how there’s no more public bathrooms anymore they all closed after covid and never opened and now businesses lock bathrooms and so now when i’m out and about i can never find a place to use one lol specifically in portland but idk if that’s just a portland thing and not other cities ??

@@silleepigeon i live in LA and yah there's a similar issue here of restrooms either not being open to the public or u have to buy something before using them... it's absolutely killer. ill never forget when, while on my way to school, i got off a stop thinking i could use the local gas station's bathroom. but the employee at the front told me i couldnt use it bc it was "out of order," and directed me to a fast food restaurant. said restaurant also didnt "have" a bathroom i could use and DIRECTED ME BACK TO THE GAS STATION. it was terrible. what was meant to be a quick five minute break turned into me slowly losing my mind as i walked up and down the street looking for businesses that were open. eventually i just had to go back to the station and beg the employee to let me use it... that pissed me off so bad bc that bathroom was not out of order at all. i ended up being incredibly late to my class; i was lucky it was an art one that went for several hours bc it wouldve been useless to go to campus otherwise

@@starlightx111 i think this bathroom issue has largely been a result of anti-homelessness that's rlly prevalent in our cities, esp those with significant homeless populations :/ it rlly fucking sucks

@@ssongpyeon for sure, it actually enrages me how much of our architecture is meant to deter homeless people from using it. our surroundings are meant to serve the public, ALL public.

according to the wiki, copperdale was based on the rocky mountains which is right next to the pnw. but willow creek has so many empty lots of various sizes, compared to copperdale that has 10 lots (im not counting the school and auditorium since wut u can build there is restricted). sillee's just working with what he can w/o having to use things like blowtorch

thank you for the ideas!! i will def add a a bullentin board to the laundromat :) that’s a really cute idea. as for the other lot- a small boutique/thrift store is really good. but since the lot type is a bar it wouldn’t really be functional which is my only concern :/

⁠@@silleepigeonohhh true I was thinking the clothing racks from high school years because you can have your sims browse through clothes but it wouldn’t make any sense if you can’t do outfits you can buy off the mannequins also for the bulletin board idea maybe use the one where you can add postcards to it idk if you can change the name or description of the postcards but if you can you could add lore about the new and old money families and what they’ve been doing to the town or any other little easter eggs for people to find on them
