I'm sure you've learned this in the past months but use alcohol for the washing phase at least 91%. the details come out so crisp compared to anything else, its a huge difference.

Hey guys, I'm currently workin with 4.2, but still not professional, do you think it would be worthy for me to update? or it may just confuse me during my progress TT_TT

what program do you use to draw the character in digital?
@Trendish_channel9 күн бұрын
1:00 did you know that only 1-3% pf all people on the world have painting skills? So this "making concept by yourself" is not working for most of the veiwers
@KeelanJon8 күн бұрын
A drawing isn't any where near advanced painting, nor is it compulsory. It's simply for a bit of fun :) As I said in the video, feel free to work on an existing concept to practice. Good luck!

This is a horrendous 'guide' dude. You didn't even explain how to put the sketch in the background
@KeelanJon15 күн бұрын
I understand your point, but if you're not at that stage where you can't simply insert an image into Blender, you're not ready to do this sort of character. I'd recommend one of my simpler tutorials. Good luck!

How accurate/natural does sculpting feel compared to a pen display?
@KeelanJon15 күн бұрын
It's not as accurate as a tablet, VR technology by it's nature at the moment introduces some shaking. But there's lots of other benefits to VR which is where it shines.

Would you know how powerful shapelabs is? can you do zbrush levels of detail if you had a good computer?
@KeelanJon16 күн бұрын
Zbrush is still the best software in terms of polycount and detail, but I've had Shapelab up to a couple million pretty easily which is plenty depending on your goals. Hope that helps 😄

Are you going to be updating the Gumroad course to match this new version?
@KeelanJon17 күн бұрын
I'll probably add a brief mention, but overall it's generally just a UI change with the functionality and brush names remaining the same.
