Trouble with not doing Cúchulainn for so long is that it majorly hurts the Red Battlemage to not have it. I know you’re not really a fan of Red Mage, but yeah. The biggest thing that makes that fight easier is just not healing, only reviving. You’re going to die a lot, but it’s a waste of time to heal most of the time, just throw Phoenix Downs and keep fighting.

The zodiac Spear is in trials mode on floor 62 by spawning biding mantis and then steel it from the mantis in case your interested

Cúchulainn's always a pain, I just dump quickenings on him until he dies. It's a cheap method but it lets me easily clear the boss out as soon as I unlock the waterway key. The Licenceboard unlocks tied to that Esper are really good from what I remember.

When I fought that thing, the frikking phoenix tore me a new one. Had to start over again and "speedrun" the phoenix before he just outdamages anything you can do.
