Okay, that’s some awesome work and technique to be shown. But I have to admit that it’s sad to hear you talking from above about another „restorer“. Is it known when the first try happened? Did the one have the same technology and techniques available like you? Yes, the work wasn’t the best way to do, but MAYBE and this time, it was the best outcome possible?

Truly incredible work to bring this piece back from being completely destroyed. What an ingenious use of a print! What incredible retouching!

To the question in the first video, it was asked what reasons we watch these videos. I have 3 reasons!! His voice is calming & ASMR is how I’d describe how I feel. He doesn’t make conservation look or sound boring but informative and exciting. It’s also refreshing to see, hear and appreciate this behind the scenes world that most people have no idea about. I’ve been following for years now and the journey has been so rewarding and inspiring in my own life that what I myself have been through in my life has helped me find grounding, therapeutic and spiritual. In the end, I just love watching this instead of watching something that has no substance or meaning and isn’t what’s popular or flashy, loud! It’s just right!! 😉👍🏼🙏🏽🥰 Thank you

I was wondering what your organic cleaning solution you mix in the studio is as I have a few paintings I need to clean 😵‍💫 and don’t want to go in with anything harmful 🫣

'Who wants to see hours of retouching? I know... all of you, but I don't'. I don't 😹 I always skip the retouching, (sorry Julian!) I could watch hours of cleaning and removing varnish though 😹

so I had this idea from the previous video, but it applies more here 12:50. so IF it was an original, and there wasn't sources... first I'd research the mythological scene this is clearly referencing. then I'd look at how other artists render that scene (if possible) then I'd take that information, combine it with the artist's style and go from there. now this CAN get tricky, say the scene is typically portrayed in a negative light from the female subject's perspective, but THIS artist wanted her to be more into it (for their own or their client's interpretation dealer's choice) but there might be clues in how the artist rendered SIMILAR scenes in other works that could be another building block

This reminds me of when you spent ages chipping polyurethane off a painting. You have the patience of a saint. What causes the fly specking?

While I appreciate your channel, Better help is a known fraud "service" that prays on vulnerable people. This has been addressed years ago here. They take no responsibility for the therapists to be therapists and the website clearly states they are not a substitute for actual therapy. Its a scam. I get the allure, their offer is pretty lucrative as far as I hear, but it is predatory as hell.

Great work, but I wonder. Was there another women species back then? Many old paintings, and ancient sculptures: One breast on the chest...long walk in between the second one. Size of the mouth like the width of the nose. Hopefully they were able to eat.
