Things that make a lot of Pokémon awful are their type combinations that give them 4x weaknesses, often two at a time. It wouldn't have hurt anyone if rock was weak to water only and ground was weak to grass only, and Brock wouldn't have sent the message of 'rock Pokémon are fucking awful'. Likewise, bug doesn't need a weakness to fire and grass doesn't need a weakness to flying, so now Parasect is notably better.

A Pokémon with Static or Effect Spore maybe should be able to learn Wrap or Bind and cause paralysis/ status conditions.

I always thought it would be incredibly cool if Unown's gimmick were something like that it can use any move that begins with its letter. Sacred Fire, Spore, Spikes, and Spider Web at least make it functional as a Smeargle replacement sometimes.

I would have given maractus round as secondary type, the added immunity to sandstorms makes sense with desert region its found in. It doesn't learn a lot of ground moves sure, but that could very well be tweaked alongside the other moves you gave it.

Up until a few years ago, I thought that Luxray was an electric/dark type. I was honestly shocked it was a pure electric type when I played gen 4 for the first time.
